I love how that Skyline Dress is turning out! I read this book recently, and it wasn't the best book to be honest, but the whole premise is that the reason we suffer is because we think too much. The book is called "Don't Believe Everything You Think" by Joseph Nguyen. I think that with practice we can train ourselves to recognize when we are what I would call "spinning out" (overthinking / too many negative unproductive thoughts) and instead just focus on the task right in front of us. Is that connected to mindfulness? Anyway, you aren't alone. I REALLY want to make some reusable gift bags this year too. I am inspired and I might try to cut some stuff out today. I've made lots of reusable gift bags. They're a satisfying easy project to fit in when I don't have much time or want to use up a bunch of scraps. It's a stressful, overthinking time for me too. I'm knitting a simple triangular shawl that's all garter stitch and increases right now and it's been so helpful. Using my hands in a repetitive way helps calm anxious thoughts. Thanks for sharing!

I love your Tessellated Vest! And your scrappy Skyline is turning out really cute. When I sew scrappy projects, they have that feeling of taking so much longer like you mentioned. ♥️ I would love to see a Christmas reusable bag tutorial-ish video sometime if you get to that! 🎄
