Join us today as we move the chicks that just hatched in the incubator to their brooder. I begin my day with going to physical therapy for my Thoracic Outlet Syndrome & Unidentified Autoimmune disease. When I get home we move the chicks into their brooder. They taste food for the fist time and I dip their little beaks into the water to show them that its there for them to drink (Chicks are the cutest when drinking water!) One chick appears to be particularly unstable on its little legs, so I brace its legs together to help it support its own body weight (Splay leg/Sprattle leg? not sure exactly). We end our day with some fun playing with the pooch hounds.
