Damn you Hank! It's been half a day since I acquired your book and it's now 6:40 AM. I have to work in under 2 hours, but what I don't have, is slept. But curiously, I don't feel tired at all. Because I've just been on a heck of an adventure. Therefore; Thank you Hank! It's been so long that I don't even remember when (no wait, it was TATWD) since I last had this enthralling of an experience with a book. I, and I dare say many others, are grateful for all the trouble you went through and the amounts of work you put in. I remember you saying "I don't want to write a book, I want people to read a book that I wrote." We have Hank. And you did good.

I didn't expected this book to resonate with me this much. Don't get me wrong, I was interested in it when I found out you're writing a book, but I was too busy with my life, to get exited about it. But when I saw the notification pop up while I was, as you put it so well, pixel pushing I clicked on it, because what's better then procrastinating. So the video started, and you began to read the book within it. Right after the second sentence I had to pause, as I did a few more times till I got to the part when you close the book, and in those pauses I contemplated my past, present and the different possible ways of future relationship with art, the meaning of art, the purpose of art and last but not least how much, just the first chapter effected me. Now, here I am, almost two hours later, have been ordered An Absolutely Remarkable Thing, and writing this comment, for what? I don't know, maybe just to let you know you had a bigger than ever before impact on me.

Hank Green, you did it. You got me hooked. The first chapter of your book is brilliant, and I am going immediately to Amazon to buy the Kindle version. One question: why didn't you read for the audiobook yourself? I realize it is told from the perspective of a woman, but it's also told from your perspective. I think your narration was a big part of what hooked me. Food for thought: would it not be more authentic for you as the author to narrate your own books? In any case, great job, Mr. Green.

I read along with you! I'm stating the book again so it'll be fresh in my mind for Tuesday! Thank you for this work, it means a lot to me, as a fellow 20 something who feels directionless.

Man, the genre of books I usually read has been pretty limited (mostly scifi). But I was really captured by this story from the start, and your reading of it was great too!
