I totally agree with you. I buy myself what I want (when I want) so when people buy me stuff it's not something I really want/need. Like you said it's waste of money for the "thought" which I don't really need. Plus I myself hate buying people forced gifts too just because I have to.

When I was a kid I sent some letters to Disney in Paris and got a signed photo of eeyore and some others too. I still have them! 😂

I love seeing my loved ones open pressies but I feel we are pressured all year round to buy stuff We go from xmas to valentines to Easter Halloween and Christmas also the boo baskets the burr baskets 🧺 constant....I think having young kids must be hard....it just doesn't feel magical to me we also have no littles so maybe that's it ha ha makes me rant too ❤ x

I totally agree with you it’s amazing how much crap you get for gifts. I didn’t take part in the secret Santa with friends I’m glad I didn’t when they opened the gifts this year . X

We are a big family so we do a secret Santa, our budget is £50. Everyone has different incomes. It works for us and you can get good things at this price :)
