Everything you were saying about London we do in Canada. We have Boxing Day and Christmas Crackers and say Merry Christmas. You could drive 5 hours from NY and go to Montreal, Quebec. You would LOVE Christmas time there. Very reminiscent of London and other European cities and towns 🎄♥️

Tea is different from there and here. Also biscuits are not always shortbread. Shortbread is very Scottish. You can also get decaf tea. Another thing is you don't find many teapots on the stove. Many now use an electric kettle. Then they pour them into nice teapots. Most use a Brown Betty which is the shape. I have different teapots, my favorite is the Waterford one. Merry Christmas.

Enjoyed seeing all your memorabilia s that you brought back from London. The gloves and umbrella especially. I would love to find your umbrella. I had a One that my mother bought me in Verona Italy. It started to rain so no choice but to buy an umbrella in a cute Italian shop. I had it for many many years. Like yours it had a wooden handle and tip. Thanks for the sharing.

Penhaligons is one of my favourite shops here in London and the ladies in there are so lovely especially the one where you went in Wellington Street. My favourite Penhaligons perfume is Halfeti, it's so beautiful and so expensive!!!

I bought some leather gloves when I was travelling Europe because it was freezing and my hands gets soo cold. I hate the cold. Those gloves and just gorgeous.

Always love your shopping hauls from international travels! This makes me want to visit London for Christmas in 2024. Have to ask about your umbrella! Did it fit in the overhead bin or where did you store it? Silly question maybe but thinking ahead if I try to bring one home. Lol thank you and welcome back!

Thank you! I put it in the overhead bin. I think it was ok because it was wood but I read online that some umbrellas don’t make it through

You and Kyle are so blessed to have good paying jobs, able to afford an expensive apt., designer clothes and travel to other clothes. When you get my age all that doesn't matter. I'm downsizing and have been sorting through my good designer purses remembering. I will give them away probably to a women's shelter. After all how many purses can I carry or shoes to wear. There are more important things now in my life.
