Bad at sewing? My mom was an expert seamstress. She designed and made custom bridal wear. When I took sewing in school, she was so excited that I would finally find interest in her passion. First few weeks, while using sewing machine, needle broke, flew up in my eye and I was rushed to the ER in a sewing accident. I'll never forget my mom's sad disappointed face walking in. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I used to do bday and wedding cakes (from scratch) and I have a tip. When your cake has cooled down after the oven and is just a tad warm, wrap it in plastic wrap, then with foil and freeze. When your ready to do the cake, take out if the freezer and ice the cake while it’s still frozen. This method helps the cake retain moisture. I’ve never had a dry cake doing this and they’re amazing.

It's exhausting but when Christmas can be done while watching thru your kid's eyes it's just so magical. The best pie crust recipe: 1 1/2 Cups of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 2 tablespoons of sugar - mix dry ingredients in pie plate. Make a hollow in the middle of the mixed together dry ingredients and add 1/2 cup of oil and 3 tablespoons of milk. Mix together in pie plate and press out to fit pie pan. No need to pre-bake. Just add pie filling and bake.

Ahhhh YES. I am not ever going to wake up early to work out. One way I’ve realized, as a mother, that I can prioritize myself and my self care…it’s by getting as much sleep as I need. So no, I won’t be getting up at the butt crack of dawn and subjecting everyone to my cranky attitude and post-workout fatigue. I will be sleeping in and starting my day well rested. 🙌🏼

Dough enhancer for bread is life changing. It keeps breads (especially while wheat) soft and amazing and light and fluffy for days/week (basically until the bread is gone or it got moldy)

I am a CrossFit Level 1 trainer and this is my workout schedule! I workout 5 days a week: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, off Thursday, Friday and Saturday, off Sunday! I highly recommend that. Thursday is an “active rest day”, for example: a bike ride, a game of tennis, a hike; etc. And Sunday is a total rest day - plop on the couch 😊

Cinnamon and sugar toast was a favorite of mine too growing up! Which reminded me I have been meaning to share a jack with Jessica for my favorite cereal, none other than the rice crispy treats cereal! I just go to the dollar store, sorry 1.25 now and get the jumbo rice crispy treats, come home, break it into pieces and leave it out on parchment paper for a day or two to get stale. Boom, you have the exact same cereal! So good! Might not fit in with the workout schedule but everyone deserves a treat for sure!

Do you not cook your cinnamon toast with the cinnamon and sugar on it? If not you have to try it the sugar will caramelize and it's a whole other level! I stick it in the oven for 5 or 6 minutes on 350.
