Health and working out is truly important, but not loosing the love to spend time with your spouse is so much more important. Your kids will be little for such a short time and your guys are still so young. Once this “season of life” 😂 is over, you’ll be able to make time for the gym ❤

Actually, you guys sitting there in your basement chilling and talking.. that is the most I’ve ever enjoyed watching you all. You can spend the whole vlog just sitting there catching up and talking, your all’s banter is so cute, the loving looks between the two of you, I love it. And- as a single mom alone with my toddler all the time, seeing you guys chill and talk in your basement almost feels like hanging out with friends going down memory lane haha. That sounds so pathetic in a way.. but I know the people that have young kids get it, it’s so refreshing just to hear another adult once in a while.

That pasta is one of my favorite recipes! Just a little tip if you want your bacon to stay crispy, put it in each dish last minute! I like the bacon crispy and that crunch is a nice addition of texture. Love your videos and both channels!

So normally I try to be a productive member of society and wrap some presents during vlogmas, cook dinner, do laundry, brush one of the cats…except tonight. I’m not sure how y’all managed to mention THE TWO gaming devices of my childhood. I was OBSESSED w/ my Gameboy Advance. Specifically the Ice Age game. 😅 And I also played the Wheel of Fortune game non stop. We called it “Spin to Win” The “End Of Vlog Giggles” are my fave! I watch the 1st half of y’all’s vlog in the morning and save the sign off I watch at bedtime. Such a happy way to end the day. Y’all have such an infectious laugh. Especially when Jess laughs so hard she cries. 😂😂😂

FYI re-used cooking oil- I use coffee grounds to soak up the oil and then put it in the green waste bin (not sure if u have these in the US. If you don’t u can always compost).

I work for a community clinic, we have Blue Shield PPO, that includes dental and vision. My monthly payment is about $80 per month from my check. The benefits are amazing!!! But the commute is getting worse and worse everyday; an hour or more to get home. My dad passed away two months ago. My mom is completely alone now. I’ve decided to quit my job and work for another clinic which is literally minutes away from the house, starting next year. I’m truly going to miss the perks.

It's so funny, I was just thinking about that water hoops game the other day. Kids today have DVD players or tablets or phones to fiddle with in the car, but we had super low tech travel games and that hoop water thing. The hoop game was actually really fun. Cheap thrills in a low tech time 😂. We mostly keep to that kind of thing even now with our son. My biggest peeve as a kid was that I got so car sick I couldn't read! Luckily my son did not inherit that so he just reads in the car mostly. Good times. ❤
