I still picture both of your kids as babies, so when River walked by I was like “whose kid is that?” 😂😂 Where did the time go? They are adorable!

I'm a multi-generational pagan and I definitely celebrate the solstice. We do the 12 days of Yule. I see American Christmas as the pagan holiday that it is. When my mom died my father remarried a Catholic and we had no tree and we ate fish on Christmas and it was weird and uncomfortable for me. I lived with it for 6 years and then I moved out and I brought back the American Christmas and all my pagan traditions and added in more that I learned. I definitely prefer it. I think everyone should just do what feels right for them. I love that I can do the same traditions with my kids that my mom did with me and my grandma did with her. I still remember putting together the oatmeal for the Tomten with my great grandma when I was very little. I can't imagine not doing it with my kids.
