Khila you have a job outside the home, you run a candle business (including all the financial/admin tasks of that), you have three KZbin channels (again including financial/admin), you have a podcast, you run a home and care for your family and yet you still feel guilt at watching the tv? Watch the tv Girl!

Watching tv is productive as it is recharging our batteries. You give so much to everything juggling 3 different jobs and 2 of those are self employed with behind the scene things. So sitting down is letting yourself to take a deep breath.

It doesn’t feel productive 😂

I am loving these daily vlogs so much! You really don't give your self credit for all the plates you're balancing, it's alot managing a home and a family let alone multiple businesses. Well done you 🎉I do one corner and then give up 🤣. Also read the blog yesterday, absolutely loved the mac lipstick swatches, felt so good and old school blog post I even had to check the publish date, more of that please 😊 x

Haha I’m glad you liked the old school post! And I know.. the plates are many but sometimes when you take the day, the next day you just have more to do and then you’re even more behind and even more overwhelmed 😂

It's not even that there's never nothing to do. I have the same things to do over & over again. Don't want to bring you down but once you've tidied a room you'll end up doing it again in a week or so 🙄 I re-watched the whole season of The Diplomat on Saturday! No regrets

I know 😭😭 it never ends and when it does it starts again!! Also I loved the diplomat!

Give yourself a break. Well done on the self care clean up, that’s a real accomplishment and you deserve a clear space to work in but is ok to let it pile up too. Have you read “How to keep house while drowning” by KC Davies? it’s written with neurodivergent people in mind but I’m not and still feel it’s applicable. Keep being kind to yourself. My cat fights with my husband for sofa space and it’s always a battle of wills 😂

I haven’t read that but I will add it to my audible list

It’s hard to be easy on yourself and it’s very easy to be hard on yourself. Try to channel your inner bestie - what would she say? Be kind to yourself, give yourself a break. There’s nothing that can’t wait - watch Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and have a coffee just because you can. Take a breather girl - you need and deserve it xxx

I’m sure there’s an actual reason for the number of robins you’re seeing, like Spring kicking in, or something… But after my dad passed I saw more than “normal” and my gran told me they’re a sign that lost loved ones are with you. As well as good luck and the start of something new. How true all that is I have no actual idea, but she very much believed it

I saw one just now eating the food I put out, yesterday too. Normally it's just piegion and magpies.
@mariannetuite74116 ай бұрын
@@24RoxyxWe never see them very often where I live - probably something to do with there being a large cat population here. But when I lost my Dad in the September of 2010 I had half a dozen in my garden in a week or two, and a couple more the following Christmas

@@mazeaston5339Me too. My nanny certainly believed and was hugely comforted by them. I had always heard that crows were “keepers of the souls” and love when they are around me for the same reason. Since that time I love it whenever I see both
@lornas_corner6 ай бұрын
I have said it before but holy moly stop beating yourself up for not being ‘productive’ Rest can be productive because we all need rest. Also, robins are always here, but because they don’t migrate we also see them in winter when lots of other wee birdies have flown to warmer places. So it’s an always bird. Wicked Little Letters - great film but £15.99??? Wow, to watch it in your own tv? Nope. My local little cinema is £7 😂😂

Yeah I found it “elsewhere” to watch. Also interesting bird fact!!

I understand you completely. I’m dog/sitting for my mum as she’s on holiday. Unfortunately I had to put down one of her dogs on Friday (felt like she was my dog as I still lived at home when we got her) and it’s just left me sad and feeling like mush. House is a state and had to take sick leave from work as I’m just in no position to even think let alone concentrate on something.

I’m so sorry for yours and your family’s loss. The hardest thing about having pets is having to make that decision when the time comes. I’m sure you all gave her a wonderful life and did the very best you could for her right until the end. Sending love to you ❤
