I was wondering when the rest/nap was going to come in! That was interesting to see Camelback Mt. My son is a jogger and when he goes there he jogs that trail and I always see pictures from the top. LOVED LOVED LOVED this!!!! You and Mom are troopers!!! That is an awesome hike, I have done it several years ago, live north of Tucson. But then I am used to higher elevations since I live at 3,500 ft level. I am amazed you both did so well!!! Did you see any snakes or coyotes?? I was holding my breath a little about the snakes! Since I live here year round, I hear many stories of people having to be rescued off that mountain since they do not take enough water with them on their climb or suffer some kind of medical problem while they are up there. It is not a climb for the weak, so you are both to be commended!!! Hope you enjoyed visiting our state!!

Camelback Mountain is a great hike I laughed when you said you couldn't imagine doing it on a hot day because I did it on a 112 degrees day, lol. Being from New York I was not accustomed to the Heat and I thought it was going to die of heat exhaustion but to be honest it was very beautiful I'm in love with the whole state of Arizona and would love to take my daughter there one day. I love seeing you and your mom having fun together I hope my daughter and I stay close as she grows up. I wonder, have you two always been close?

Dr Dray love those places!!! My in-laws were actually building a house in Winthrop (a town about 6 miles from Twisp) but my mother in law unfortunately had a heart attack and then heart transplant while they were building their home there (yes, they were doing all of the building on their own other than the concrete pouring). That was 6 years ago. She is doing great still, but decided to move into an already built lovely house in Tucson, AZ. We love the excuse to travel to AZ all the time, but we definitely miss being able to jump in the car for four hours and be in Winthrop.

Enjoy watching your hike,I like hiking too,looks like a trip i would like to take,great vacation,I hear how everyone loves Arizona,your weather doesn't appear too sunny,you did look a little cold,that is a nice VEST you found at-tjmax,will keep you warm,i live 1&1/2hrs from a mall I find the nicest products on line at tjmax.YES you need to wear gloves,I have to wear them around the house while working,i even have a pair for sleeping.Enjoy see you tomorrow😊🏡👒🍁🌵

Cool hike! Nice condo too! Enjoyed the hike with you and your mom. I used to hike quite a bit 20 plus years ago with a hiking group. I have hiked all over the wasatch mountains including Mt. Timpanogas, Bryce Canyon, Zions Canyon, Canyon lands and Grand Canyon north Rim. I think I told you I also used to run but hurt my back. Hike looked fun! Thanks for sharing your adventure, Brenda!

Your mom's skin looks so fresh for her age. Arizona looks beautiful! I told you my skin had big pores and looked like it lost elasticity and it been like that for a few years, well I've been washing and moisturizing twice a day with Neutrogena and my skin is starting to look healthy fast! I thought that I was aging already bit it was all the crap and oils I was putting on my face. Would you recommend any treatments to help recover the damage or should I see a dermatologist?

Hello to you both. Tell your mom that there is such a thing as caffeine tablets. lol I'm sure you wouldn't recommend them to her though. Mountain goat! You are so funny. It's nice to hike when it's overcast like that. Sorry your lunch was a fail. Unknown restaurants are always a hit or miss. Happy Cow is a good resource for reviews.
