I am debating using an external mixer (w/ mics) vs USB headsets... Something intriguing was you mentioned triggers to automatically mute mics. Regardless of which route I go, do you have a tutorial on how you set up those specific triggers to mute the audio source? I have created triggers in general

We don't but it would work similar to a USB interface, if your mixer had a USB output.

At 12:45 he says you can adjust the headphones volume, but never clicks on it. I'm trying to hear my complete mix in my headphones.

our audio is always distorted sounding on live stream and very quiet as well, you have to have your volume turned all the way up on the device your listening too, even though the green audio bars are almost hitting into the yellow.

Hello dear friends, can you really hear yourself through headphones? Or is there always a delay ... How can you control like that?

Hi, due to audio processing on the computer, there is always going to be a delay. You can turn off the headphone volume for your microphone so you don't hear it. If you'd like to check your microphone audio levels, you can always press the Solo [S] button on your microphone input to hear it.

Hi, do you mean in the input area? You can drag the separator to create more space or even make the input box size smaller in Settings>Display. It will depend on your screen resolution though. I'm using cameras with SDI input into BMD Decklink DUO 2. If I have my mic connected to the camera, I get audio hits on my external recordings every 5 seconds or so. I'm going SDI out to a Samurai Blade. The recordings to hard drives are fine. If I bring the mics in on the Behringer USB Box, the external recordings are fine but of course out of sync unless I add delay. I would prefer to keep the mics connected to the cameras for backup recording, any ideas what's causing the audio hits on the external recordings? You can even hear them in headphones while it's recording. Thanks!

Sometimes when a system is overloaded, there may be audio issues so we'd need to take a look at your set up too. Could you submit a Support Report from vMix by going to Settings>About>Submit Support Report. Make sure to send a support email and the support report so we can match them up.

If all of the drivers have been installed, then you should be able to get good audio out of it, just like any other USB audio interface. We use an AudioBox USB 96 each week for our Petrol Prices live stream and have no issues.

Hi, the audio mixer should have some kind of output (USB, XLR, SDI etc). You could then feed the output of the desk into vMix either with USB or if it's XLR you could use a USB audio interface such as the Behringer U-PHORIA UMC or Focusrite Scarlett series.

New to video streaming, used to audio streaming - we use an analog mixer with Audiobox to usb into our laptop - is this still acceptable into laptop and vMix? Should the audio go through the camera via XLR? which would you suggest? I would think that the Audiobox should be ok - however what setting should you use to ensure that the video and audio sync up? We will be broadcasting ice hockey so it moves pretty quick.

The Audiobox looks like a XLR to digital audio via USB, much like the products mentioned here- kzbin.info/www/bejne/pXvJpJaXj52BfdE. Usually the audio from these USB Interfaces will arrive a little quicker than the video, so you can sync them up by adding a small delay on the audio input like this- kzbin.info/www/bejne/qoe8q5WOpdeYrqM.
