Wow, they both extend up to 16K Hz (should have been emphasized in the video). That's pretty crazy for an 8" and 10". I think most people would be okay with that and not feel the need for a tweeter of some kind. I was always impressed with how a wizzer cone extended response back in the day. It's technology that actually works.

I totally agree, but if you put it in a door it will sound a bit dark from being that far off axis. The FR500 will work better in an application like that because it has an emphasized high end without being harsh or glaring
