Well done! We took our Beagle up Mount of the Holy Cross. Half way down the mountain, we had to carry him for stretches due to sharp edges on the rocks. His paws took a beating. He made it though. He also was the trail finder on mount Massive. He had amazing route finding skills that saved us.

I've been on Horn Peak (the triangle to the East of Kit Carson) many times from the Westcliffe side, as well as Humbolt and Baldy, and some I don't recall in the Sangres, north of those peaks. That was 30 years, ago, when I was a teenager living near Westcliffe. Wish I could go back and live there now!

Got my first pair of Hokas, Speedgoat mind you, after getting inspired by you. Have been more of an Altra person owing to my splay foot. Can't wait for the proper MUT race in November to see how it works out for me. Fingers crossed for now 🤞
