i´d like to know how to use, help, help out, assist, aid
@fredylopez2477
@fredylopez2477 3 ай бұрын
They all mean the same, the only difference could be that: - "assist" is a formal way to say it. - "aid" could be another formal way to say it. - "help" is the normal verb. - "help out" is just another informal way to say it. # I'd say that they're all synonyms but in different contexts.

Hi sir, I’ve been watching many of your lessons and they are very useful. I have a question for you and hope to hear from you soon. What is it called if a person is being bullied by another ?

Can I use "tease" in a less offensive context? Like, in a playful way?

I always have problems with r and soft d sound I think the best example are these two words…study/ story… they both sound the same to me…and every time I say, native speakers correct me, but It’s hard for me to tell the two sounds apart..I am Spanish speakers…

But can't one tease with mimic without a voice?
@fredylopez2477
@fredylopez2477 3 ай бұрын
According to what Kevin said, you can't do that, you tease someone by SAYING something mean ONLY. -"to make fun of someone", you say something fun and mean to the other person, it may seem fun to you, but not to the person you're making fun of, I mean, to the other person. - "to pick on" someone, means that you don't have to say something mean, YOU DO something mean, it doesn't have to be something YOU SAY and "to bully" has the same idea.
