Most versatile singer I have ever listened to! Been following Angelina for over two years and can't get enough of her amazing voice! The first time I heard this I was stunned! Angelina won Norway's Got Talent when she was 8 yrs old after starting the competition at 7. The youngest winner of any Got Talent show on the planet. She started with a rendition of Billie Holiday's 'Gloomy Sunday'. She followed this by another Billie classic in acapella of 'I'm a Fool to Want You'. At that point the other contestents could have gone home and come back next year. Her next performance was a beautiful rendition of 'Bang, Bang' performed most famously by Nancy Sinatra. She won the competition with her performance of 'Summertime' by George Gershwin. Shortly after winning she was designated a National Treasure by the Norwegian people. There is video of Angelina recorded my her mother Sarah Astar singing a couple of lines of "I Will Always Love You' by Whitney Houston when she was 18 months old. She started studying all the greats of Jazz soon after under the guidance of her Iranian grandmother Mery Zamani a child prodigy in herself. She is both an artist and poet. English is Angelina's 3rs language behind Norwegian, Farsi, and Japanese and some German.

*Why Angelina always performs barefoot* At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East.
