Thanks for reacting to this performance. The band played a prank on Gigi, and made those multiple key changes to throw her off. This was part of a 3-hour livestream that this band did, where they perform songs that fans would request, play a set list, do covers, poke fun at each other. They didn't planned it because it's 3 hours live streaming every Wednesday and Saturday,it's live an the song they sang mostly requested and I watch that live ..the band always make prank with her

It's a challenge, it's like the hook of the song but everytime you sing it, the note gets higher. I remember the band prank her by raising the key than the expected one but she still manage to nail the song. She's so good!

She was not prepared to sing the full song so to make it up she sang the chorus instead. And then her bandmates decided to prank her on the spot. TRIVIA When this song originally became a hit (by Roselle Nava -' in the 90s?) many refered to it as the "crazy martyr" song. When her bandmates jokingly say "Great singer" they are possibly refering to the funny scoring in Karaoke system achieved by belting controllablly. Her bandmates said "pranking her is scary!"
