The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental Arab technique (or traditional cazaq singing, called Joqtaw), is a funeral lament, paying homage to the dead vocalist: Brilliant! The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio. The dead singer left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebyev, who is the keyboardist with long hair, which we see in the video accompanying Dimash.

I think your insight about his not singing in styles is accurate and thank you for mentioning it. I am not a singer but it seems to me that any mention of a "style" that someone tries to use to define him is merely always going to fall well short of the full measure of what he is doing. Rather than the word style I think perhaps the word different techniques might be less constrictive. Obviously, he had been trained in opera techniques, pop techniques et cetera but he has so much unbelievable control, range, versatility and intelligence he can in an instant combine them in ways likely only someone as exceptional as he can and in doing so creates a brand new "style".

What drives my obsession with this channel is the attention you give to some of these artists' character. The way you analyze his eye contact and posture at the end of the performance and relate it to his courtesy toward the band... As much as I would give anything to get your insight into music, I would give even more listen to you talk empathy and philosophy. I always wondered if he had intended to continue singing, but didn't when the Dears began laying flowers on the stage. But I knew that Dimash is used to people thinking he has stopped and he had never stopped him from finishing. So now, I finally know. What a fabulous review. There aren't many KZbin reviewers that know what to look for and explain to us the listeners what kind of technic the singer has to make with his vocal cords, lungs, diaphragm, etc. But you do. It is not easy to deliver these tones as good as he does. I'm sorry my friend with all due respect to Khazakstan and their culture the style of singing he used in these 3 songs and in Ascota la voce is Arabian . Maybe they borrowed somethings from the Arabian culture because they share the same religion and the Quraan is in Arabic , but anyway that type music and singing was Arabian for a long long time before other Islamic countries borrowed from it .

Многие многоопытные вокальные коучи пытались найти хоть малейшие ошибки в его исполнении, хоть что-нибудь хотя бы в артистизме, сосредоточенности на песне, манере держать микрофон, стоять на сцене, дышать, напрягать шею и плечи, наконец, в одежде. Ничего! Не за что зацепиться. А его диапазон в шесть (!) октав плюс два тона, которых даже нет на клавиатуре фортепиано (!) ?! Известный итальянский импресарио, который делает саундтреки для голливудских фильмов и может сказать кто в оркестре из 300 музыкантов когда и на какой ноте сфальшивил признал Димаша лучшим в мире певцом с лучшим в мире голосом - а это уже признание на самом высшем уровне!

Замечательная реакция умного жизнерадостного человека. Я попала под обаяние этой женщины. Было очень интересно смотреть и слушать хорошие точные замечания. Считаю, что реакция Элизабет достойна квалифицированного перевода. Может, наши специалисты по английскому языку отзовутся и сделают перевод по горячим следам, а не когда-нибудь, потом? //////////////////// Почитала комментарии англоязычных зрителей и удивилась. Я сама из Казахстана. Димаш - наша гордость, Димаш - наше национальное достояние! Все его поклонники-земляки знают о нем, наверное, всё, каждый его шаг и вздох. Да, это дело нашей чести знать все о своем выдающемся соотечественнике. Русскоязычные болельщики из стран СНГ тоже знают достаточно. Но, оказывается, что англоязычные ДЕАРСЫ ни в чем нам не уступают, т.е. весь заинтересованный мир пристально следит за творчеством Димаша, за ним самим, восхищается, анализирует, разбирая на детали любое произведение Димаша, пропагандирует и распространяет его творчество... Меня конечно впечатлил уровень знаний о Димаше и его карьере и объем информации, которым владеют люди по всему миру.

I just spent 5 hours listening to him. First time ever. Just 2 or 3 songs. I listen to them all over again another day. Thanks for your comments. One woman wants to use him for a healing ministry.. his voice as an Angel. I knew only two of the professionals, but their reactions were wonderful to watch... I read many comments, the best part of these site are the Comments All over the place.

Baigali Serkebayev- leader of the A-Studio group, producer, orangeman, pianist, composer, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan. Soviet-Kazakh - Russian pop pop group A studio. In 2018, Dimash Kudaibergen took part in the A'STUDIO concert with the song "Sinful Passion", which was once performed by Batyrkhan Shukenov. The music of "Sinful Passion" was written by Baigali Serkebayev, the words by Ilya Reznik.

Imagine the pressure Dimash had of having Mr. Krutoy in the audience. That's the first time most of us, < Dear>, got to see Igor. Soon after, He and Dimash gave us " The Love Of Tired Swans " ,"Mademoiselle Hyde", " Love is like a dream ", "Passione", "Know" and my favorite "Ogni Pietra" and the new masterpiece "Your Love"
