Sorry Hannah, I should have told you, but it was after the fact..snd some reactors are getting away with some of these performances....I was hoping that you would get lucky too. Maybe you can ask the Dears (lol) which songs you can react to that do not have copyright issues. I am sure you will get a plethora of links. And Hannah, you will meet some awesome people here, and you will meet some awful people here too...so, Please do not be put off by a small amount of negativity and know that by far, the majority are really enjoying what you do. You can see that by the amount of views you get. You are great, you are a breath of fresh air with your exuberant personality and we NEED people like you, now more than ever. So, stand strong!!! And stay safe. Regards from Thailand.

Copyright strikes are a bit usual for Dimash's performances in the show Singer. However, all other performances are copyright-free, so as long as you are staying away from his performances on this particular show, you won't have any further issue. Thanks for reuploading!! I highly recommend "Sinful Passion" from Sochi and "Ogni Pietra" from his Arnau concert. The version of Ogni Pietra from Igor Krutoy's channel is the best, in my opinion. The arrangement is better and Dimash's performace is more engaging.

@@HannahBayles If you are going to do Ogni Pietra, do the one from Kazan, please, at the World Skills performance. Russian TV shows are notorious for having the singer lip sync with a track -- the singers have no control over it. Dimash always sings his heart out, even if his mic is turned off, but he told us himself that the performance and audio in Kazan was live. Woo, hoo!

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than seven languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices like "Marcelito", Dimash has his own style and is the creator of the "Popera" he also has a very pleasant, humble and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, Tenor, Sopra no, against Tenor, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, whistle tone, reaching a D8 live at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from Venezuela ❤️

There have been hundreds of performers of this song since 1976, but not one has any vocal data to perform it like Dimash did! Maestro Michel Berger, for sure, would have been happy if it was such a performer who would have come to him for an audition - all the notes were effortlessly taken, and how much strength and tenderness in this performance, what actor’s presentation of each line exactly according to the content of the song. "S.O.S." Dimasha, like a scarf with a magical aroma, flying over the square in the "Perfumer" - one wave and everyone is fascinated! The tone is incredible, penetrating the very heart! S.O.S. of a Man in Distress "Starmania" (french rock opera). Music - Michel Berger, text - Luc Plamondon Why do I live, why do I die? Why do I live, why do I cry? Here is the SOS of a man in distress I've never had both feet upon the ground I'd rather be a bird I don't fit into this skin I'd like to see the world turned upside down If ever it were beautiful It's lovelier from above, from above I've always confused life with the comic strips Even wished I could transform I feel something That draws me That draws me That draws me up Into the great lotto of the universe I don't have the right numbers I don't fit into this skin I don't want to be a robot Eating, working, sleeping Why do I live, why do I die Why do I live, why do I cry I think I'm catching waves From another world I've never had both feet upon the ground I'd rather be a bird I'd like to see the world turned upside down I'd rather be a bird Sleep, child, sleep...

If you study his history, you'll find that he doesn't have a traditional falsetto. He's singing the high registers in full voice. When he started puberty, he sang through it and figured out how to keep the high registers as his voice changed. I don't think any other singer in history has done that. And as a singer of some talent myself (at 18, I was the youngest member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, now the Choir at Temple Square, until I convinced a friend in our college A'Capella Choir to audition. He was 5 months younger), I actually know a few things about singing. Oh, I sang in a few operas, too. Dimash is, IMO, the greatest singer of all time. I know my opinion is worth everything you're paying me.

Greetings of Peace to everyone…! And to all the personnel’s who worked with artists, and all others who did the translation, produced videos and uploaded it on line. My heartfelt gratitude to the reactors worldwide for your great help and service, so that artists can improve and or develop their talents and gifts at their best in order to serve better the listening public. I still browse the music videos of Dimash from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength Dimash had invested into it and to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that he had. Indeed it is really a great work. How he was able to develop such a heights of his talents is really admirable and worth learning. And it is much more beautiful because he sang it by heart, naturally and at his heart’s content with joyful disposition. The discipline, dedication and high ideals in pursuing his singing career to the best of his ability the best he can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living our day to day life. Hope his listeners around the world especially the young will learn something from his optimistic views in pursuing his career, his persistency, creativity and perseverance. His labors and hard work are now indeed bearing fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to Dimash and to his family and all others who supported him all the way through as a musician. For me as a listener it counts a lot the personal disposition of the artist and the content of its music. The power and beauty of his voice is so incredible even at his lowest and highest notes. Also the fact that, he is able to sing his music with ease and comfort in different languages and in various voices is really amazing. But some others also cannot handle and cannot even believe the power, the strength and the heights of his voice…and they said oooh… is Dimash human..? I think It’s just a natural reaction that people wonder and probably surprise by it or cannot even believed it at all, it’s because it is beyond human expectation. But I believed and I’m convinced that Dimash 20 year’s cultivation of his voice and talents is no tricks and no magic at all; though he is gifted but his hard work and years of practice and experiences proves it to us and to the world … that indeed it is possible. My other concern whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..? Although Dimash music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it. With due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below about these music is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me. For all the readers of these reflections and commentaries about this piece of music performed by Dimash. If you think this is all helpful for the general public you can share it to others, I do really appreciate it. Or maybe you might have a different reflection experience of this music than mine; you can always revisit this music or other music of Dimash on line. Your own personal comments and critique to this commentary and reflection is very much welcome and highly appreciated too. Song of Dimash in French “S.O.S D’UN TERRIEN EN DETRESSE” (Ester Rabi’s Commentary & Reflection on this song: I like this music because it reminds me the Truth, Realities and Precariousness of Human Life particularly Suffering and Death) STORY BEHIND THE SONG: Credit to Daniel Balavoine the original artist of this song who had a sudden death in a helicopter accident in 1986. Later, it was covered by Gregory Lemarchal, a young French singer who inspired Dimash to sing “SOS d'un terrien en detresse” who at all odds won the 4th series Reality TV Program Star Academy, despite his failing health and became an overnight success in France but had a shorter career, for he died young with his unusual illness of Cystic Fibrosis in 2007 at the age of 23. Recently it was unbelievably covered by Dimash and from time to time Dimash sung it in memory of his great friend Denis Ten an Olympic figure skater from Kazakhstan who was stabbed after a dispute with people who allegedly tried to steal a mirror from his car in his home city of Almaty. He died of massive blood loss from multiple wounds at the age of 25 in 2018. That is why this song is sad mention in some of the lyrics…A soul’s plea for help or an earthly being in distress. . Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith. For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discern well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity or a means of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with great humility and discernment. Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God. Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life. Likewise, if we are open to grace it helps us become vulnerable, sensitive and compassionate to others. It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true home. We should remember that we are only strangers and pilgrims on this earth” St. Paul reminded us that “the sufferings of this present time are nothing to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us later. Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it personally in reality, you will never be the same person. The hope of heaven gives us joy even in the sufferings of this life. In God’s plan, human beings were created for holiness and eternal life with him. But through the original sin that enters into human lives, our nature has been wounded, and we experience suffering and death. This was not part of God’s original plan, but it is part of the reality of our human lives now. Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives, and we will face God’s judgment. Death creates in us a feelings and emotion of fear, separation, sadness and pain. Many times we evade this reality and we try to question and argue with God why…? But all our efforts failed because whether we like it or not at the end, we all die. Death comes in our life anytime anywhere. No material things, good health, young age can guarantee of its extension. The truth is… in front of death we are all poor and powerless on it. If this life were the only one we had, death would definitely be the great tragedy. But In God’s plan, however, death is not the end of everything, but the border that enables every human being to enter the endless place of eternity. For all those who have done their best to respond to God’s grace, to die is to cross from an imperfect type of existence into a new and fuller life lived in God’s presence. Often we feel the greatest misfortunes, when death struck in a person, depriving him or her greatest treasures a person can possess which is life itself. Death is such a peaceful event in our life if we die in the state of grace, meaning if we died reconciled with God and at peace with others. Death is the end of our earthly life. Our lives are measured by time, as with all other living beings on earth. Since it is unknown to all of us the time of our death, therefore, it is best that we should prepare at all times, otherwise we are being caught by surprise of not being ready when God comes to take us to be with Him forever in our eternal home in bliss. Thanks Dimash for your music and service to us, to your country and people. Gratefully yours, Ester Rabi, Philippines,

Hannah, thanks for your reactions and comments. You mentioned several things that make Dimash unique: you can add to that list his mastery of intimacy on stage. He uses the ability to barely phonate to create an arc in his song, taking his audience from tensely listening for every whispered note through to the climax of each song, as we weakly pat our hearts and fan our brows, overcome with the beauty of what we've just heard. He is like no other, Hannah. I'm glad you're enjoying him!

Well, there is Unforgettable day(Gakku performance), rumored as a song written by him in pretty young age. Since it's in his Mothertongue, he used to sing it much more convenient way. You MUST witness his range!:)

please consider “sinful passion” and “ogni Pietra” (fancam version, you see his face all the way through) next ♡

Not Fancam, it has the Worst Sound Quality .. this one is better ---> Ogni Pietra kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJKleapjr7SHa9U

@@rudigerk - I agree Hans. With the Fancam version you can't hear his voice over the instruments. It's nice to see his face but to me it's the voice that's more important. Cheers, Steve

@@rudigerk No, if not a fancam, then this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fH_Li6qDZdl_l9E. This would be better about his voice, it sounds a bit stronger than in your suggested video

Do you ask a voice professional to do a vocal analysis with the sound of the filming of a smartphone?
@Maria-ve5xz4 жыл бұрын
Pablo Lesse all I meant is that his vocal technique was most visible with that video, otherwise I agree that the other videos definitely have better quality:)

Copyright strikes... when will the publishers realize that publicity is *good?* This version of SOS from Dimash might be better. In the Singer version he seemed a bit strained. I know that during the course of the show, he fell ill, though I don't know if it bothered him in his first performance of the show. But in this one he glides effortlessly over every part of the song. It's thrilling in either case. By now you're well aware of Dimash's stylistic choice pattern: use lots of different techniques in a song, and vary energy levels and even add silences, to create drama and to tell the story. Down the rabbit hole we go! I'm glad to take this journey with you, Hannah. Might want to keep your ears open for a Dimash song you'd enjoy covering. Permission is possible. The Australian singer, songwriter and musician Caleb Coles covered 'SOS,' furnishing English lyrics and his own arrangement. Dimash 'dears' are always up for Dimash covers, they're fun!

You're in for a treat no matter which Dimash songs you choose! I spend FAR too much time watching people react to him, and I think you'd enjoy Ogni Pietra (Kazan 2019), his opening to the European olympics, it's epic and badass. Daididau (Bastau concert) for traditional music in his native tongue and some serious feels plus he plays the dhombra! Sinful Passion is another showstopper where he keeps changing styles/techniques, featuring his dreamy lower register. Have fun, welcome to the Dears! (his name for his fans :) )

I would like to speak with "Hunan Tv" and the boss of the show "Singer". Nobody made more for them worldwide than Dimash! They should be happy that the people know about them now. It's ok if they striking the bloggers, who post the original video on their channels. But it is stupid to strike reactions like that, that also makes them popular.
