I've seen Hamilton 15 times on Broadway but it's still 2nd on my most watched musicals...The Great Comet is #1. I've seen over 120 Broadway musicals and there is no greater musical than The Great Comet. I saw it 17 times and it's even greater than Hamilton, In The Heights, A Chorus Line, and Les Miserables. My absolute favorite song from Hadestown is "How Long", it's a duet between Persefone and Hades, and while Amber has that craaaaazy jazzy voice, super stylish, Patrick Page is a true bass, with a very deep and haunting voice that complements Amber's sooooo well. The result is a beautifully melancholic song, definately a must listen to.

@@SongsFromASuitcaseI know this was so long ago but I have a great suggestion for a video that I think all Hadestown fans would agree with. You should react to epic 3 and chant one after another no pause in between. They have a beautiful and powerful transition and chant is such a banger, it has overlapping motifs. If you can’t do both in one vid then at least do chant. (A few other suggestions are “livin it up on top” staring Persephone and “Way down hadestown” a jazzy group number)

Love it! The NPR Tiny Desk Hadestown performance is a really excellent live performance to react to, and there are 4 or 5 songs they perform. The opening number in that,"Way Down Hadestown," is a whole lot of fun and features most of the main characters doing at least a short solo line or two, if not a full verse. The reprise of "Wait for Me" they did on CBS Saturday Sessions is totally different from the "Wait For Me" you reacted to earlier and showcases the fantastic harmonies of the chorus and Eva Noblezada's incredible blended voice. Otherwise, official videos are hard to come by but the entire soundtrack is SO GOOD. I love "Epic III," "Hey Little Songbird," "If It's True," and "Chant."
