I was WAITING for you to react to this album and you did the damn thing, love to hear your imputs. The album for me is a masterpiece and an experience. The first half was my favorite too at a first listen, but the second one really hits hard with time - the lyric of The Lighthouse, oh my god. My favorites are Not a Woman, Tradition, Bells and 1121. Album of the year for sure.

If there's one band that had been around in the 90s especially for Industrial Rock field... It's Nine Inch Nails, they were the one produced this album And it is amazing, whole a lot different and heavier than the 3 previous Halsey record

I really enjoyed the first three songs. I just kept playing them before even listening to the entire album. This album is just really beautiful and holds an uncomfortable conversation and you can just tell by the melodys, how the songs are paced. Bells in Santa Fe, The Tradition, Easier than lying, Girl is a Gun and The lighthouse are my favorite but Ya'aburnee just has a special space in my heart.

I mean, go out and get yourself a guy who has written music for decades, is highly respected, and has won Grammys and Oscars for both his original music, and scoring movies. And the guy he has worked with for the last decade or so, too. She did something most people would not do, she took a chance that most would not. And it has paid off for her and also introduced a whole new generation of people to Nine Inch Nails as well. This was one of the best collaborations of 2021 and it wasn't even billed as a collab, truly. Those who knew, KNEW. And Trent and dissonance are almost like best friends, haha.
