this is incredible! As a fan of the old Nightwish I was never able to see them because I was very young and I thought it would never happen again but I was lucky enough to see them live and it was simply magical!!! that show was a dream come true. This song is beautiful. It is a song that Marko wrote and he invited Tarja to sing and she accepted. This song live has a lot of power!!

Thank you! I appreciate that you reacted to this so fast. This is a great song! Powerful song! It shows, again, that wounds heal and you can get over the pain. I am so happy that Marko and Tarja are friends again and to me it seems that they are closer than ever before. Marko and Tarja were so huge part of Nightwish so I don't think that we can avoid getting the Nightwish vipes from this song (not a bad thing) and yet it's completely Marko and what he does. The songwriting is so him. And then adding Tarja's voice just brings more emotion and power to this song. :) About their tour: They are apparently getting better. I think they are performing today (13.3). Marko and Tarja rescheduled the two shows they missed.

Nightwish members haven't been in contact with Marko since he left. It's funny that no one has had any trouble with Tarja or her husband after she left Nightwish. Nightwish on the other hand has continued to cause drama.

See the comments Marko has made recently about the "business side of Nightwish" and how there would need to be changes there before he'd ever return. He also hints at the role they played in what happened many years ago. When he refers to the "business side of Nightwish" he's talking about the management team and how they sowed the seeds of division within the band. They hated Tarja's husband and wanted him out of their way. He stood in their way of exploiting the band for their own gain. I think it's crystal clear now, who destroyed Nightwish and it wasn't Tarja or her husband!

I agree the whole leaving due to " mental health " seems hollow now , he jumped right back into his music and now joining Tarja .....just seems to me he wasn't happy with his diminishing role in Nightwish and that's the real reason he left .

It’s called growth. He knew what they did to Tarja was wrong and apologised and they have rebuilt their friendship, which is beautiful to see. He seems much happier now and seems to have found the joy of performing again with an old friend. Also just because he recovered from his mental health struggles doesn’t mean they weren’t real. He just finally got the correct diagnosis and the correct medication, which can turn things around quickly. The fact that his old band mates of 20 years have not been in touch or checked on him after he left speaks of their attitude, not his.

He didn't jump right back in though, he took a break, got a diagnosis, medication, and now he's making music at his own pace. Nightwish is huge, which means much more commitment and responsibility and more eyes on you all the time. It's why Tarja wanted to leave, and why Marko may have left. And with growth sometimes you realise that mending old wounds can make a huge difference on how you move forward. I'm happy for both of them.
