The key changes are to show trouble for sure, but not because of North and South. It's due to Japan trying to take the island, Dokdo, that belongs to Korea. Every single person in Korea, both north and south, knows where exactly this island lies and all the history of this island. Japan is claiming this island belongs to them since the accupation of Korea that happne in early 1900.

Just a bit more context for anyone who stumbles across this (since the video is a month old IDK if Sam will see this but it's interesting for anyone haha): - 'Arirang' is a type of Korean folk song, there are something like ~60 versions with like 3,000(?) variations, from the different regions of Korea. The most famous arirang is "Bonjo Arirang (본조아리랑)" aka "Standard Arirang." All Arirangs have the same refrain of "Arirang, Arirang, Arariyo." - Arirang is basically the unofficial national anthem of Korea, hence why literally everyone in the audience knew it and was singing along at the refrain. If you play Arirang, literally every Korean will know it and likely sing along haha - Most Arirangs are from a few hundred years ago, but they became especially significant to the Korean people while under Japanese rule - Arirang came to symbolize Korean national identity. - This particular Arirang, Arirang Alone, is far more recent than most and references the pain of separation between the two halves of the Korean peninsula. I know what the song is about, but not the actual history of it, so I will try my best from just MY onion as tyo what happens. This dong is about the divide of North and South Korea, and the hopes to one day become one again. So... I do not know Korean at all, but from what you called that thunder cloud part, I would assume that was the break of what was once ONE Korean country into TWO, North and South, and then the hopes to one day be one again. Her closest and best friend Park Ki Young has about the same vocal range but is a tad more versatile because she can belt them with equal emotional impact and power in rock, pop, soul, jazz and classical ( opera). A few of my favorites that are worthy of reacting to: “ Spring Rain” ( her final rock raspy ending amazing!) “ wound” “ a song for you” “ goodbye too short a word” “Hit hee Park Ki Young” (one of my all time favorites) “ Nella Fantasia “ ( best version ever and I’ve watched all the world class vocalists perform this) Mask ( she was robbed. But my reason for my comment is this: When you have a few moments , I’d like for you( or your audience who is reading this) to respond to a virtually unheralded unknown female vocalist who I chanced upon about a month ago and she blew my mind to kingdom come. If you like angelic heavenly female vocalists with a high vocal range, then please keep reading. She goes by the name “ Eivor” She’s from time the small Faroe island and when she gives a performance virtually the whole island of about 600 show up. She has an angelic voice so unique , so mystical , so magical, so entrancing so hauntingly beautiful that if you ( or your subscribers) react ( no one will recommend her so I hope you will react privately ) to the following 6 performances after which you will become an avid fan and utter to yourself “ why on God’s earth is she not famous??). You’ll want to subscribe to her website where she will enthrall and mesmerize and entrance you with about 40 more songs ( a mixture of live and MV’s and she is one of the few world class vocalists who is as good or better performing live. Every one of her live performances will silence your mind and open the floodgates of your heart and soul. ). Arirang hill means Korean' sadness pain or supperssing etc. For about 5000years, Korea is invaded from china or japan etc. About a thousand time. Because we are not strong.
