I wonder if you would like Big Mama's Killing Voice. That may be the best one that I've heard and I like a lot of them so it's not a knock against any of the others. Big Mama (4 women in their 40s and 50s) debuted in 2003 with focus being on vocals over visuals. They disbanded in 2012 but re-formed in 2019. I think some or all are now educators in college/university but their voices and techniques are even better than before.
