This song reminds me of us old people who grew up listening to Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and Marvin Gaye. Especially the Motown 70's where R&B like this came on the radio and this kind of R&B set a standard for all those that followed. Notice the call and response in the beginning of the song. Anderson and Bruno play around, the band is loose and smooth (just like a newborn) as Bruno touches his face. I love the falsettos and that classic sophisticated R&B. Bruno Mars , I love his vocal here, the best he ever sounded displays how good of a singer and performer he has come to be as he matures in his music. I believe Bootsy Collins from P Funk is on this track too but not shown here on video. That band, a rapper, singer and drummer Anderson Pak is a triple threat but he is more known for rapping. He can sing too. I project this will be nominated for song of the year when they announce Grammy award nominations in the late fall. By the way you are so cute and beautiful. You know and sense great music. I would love to hear your critique of some old music in my era. I love great singers I'm going to leave two old songs here and if you could critique these performances and songs? What makes the vocal so good? I love these songs. It makes me cry every time I hear James Ingram' s "No Easy Way". Written by the best songwriter alive today. Barry Mann. It is absolutely sad and beautiful. Knocks me out. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aae0Zn6Ons5rY7M or tis one kzbin.info/www/bejne/il6zhmuQat-qma8 I know that these are not performance videos but I think the song is what is most important.

Girl you singing! Thank you for acknowledging good voices & a hit song! That Anderson is 🔥 and Bruno is just amazing! Heck they both are!

INSTANT LIKE! You are awesome! Your technical analysis was so impressive! I mean, perfectly captured, explained and reproduced! I was also really impressed by the way you physically reacted to the music, the singing... the vocal gymnastics... and watching your gestures, your "stank face" (soooo adorable), and just the way your body was moved by the rhythms. This was the #1 reaction vid of this performance, bar none! You are pure goodness, Fairy Voice Mother.

So glad REAL VOCALS are returning to the airwaves. Autotune destroyed music. I was born in 70 and this is the type of music I always on the radio. Thank you, Bootsy Collins, for this magic! And if you don’t know who he is, check him out!

Just found your channel while binge-watching reactions to this song. I found your insight and commentary incredibly helpful since it broadened my understanding of "singing". It also helps that you have wonderful voice-control as a Vocalist... I love listening to you sing!

I enjoyed watching your review of Silk Sonic. Your technical evaluation of their singing and performance was enlightening, and I also enjoyed watching how their performance moved you. Watching your reaction makes me wish I could sing!

Loved your review and take on this song... First time at your channel and refreshing to hear someone speak about music the way I feel and see it and sing, using words like, lush, full, warm etc. This song especially deserves all those descriptives and I love the changes too! Best song of 2021

Real talk, I already loved the magic in this song by Paak-Mars SilkSonic, but the way this sister broke down the technical aspects of this song... #mindblown

Not only does she have technical knowledge, she also has good taste and her facial contortions are hilarious.

Respect to the fairy VM. I caught the immediate vocal impression with the Anderson paak falsetto. Never been here before but I'm a sub now.

4:18 ~ A+ for that quick and useful advice on switching from a breathy to a stronger falsetto, something I've been struggling with for a while now. Subbed.
