Fun fact- Mark Ronson made the melody and she produced the song from scratch over it. This was all done after the movie was filmed so her and Mark sat in a room together and just came up with the lyrics. She is truly a Goddess

I've been listening to Dua Lipa on ear buds at the gym doing cardio because most of the songs sound like this one: upbeat, dance music. I can see how this would fit in to the Barbie movie seamlessly. I just want to say, she has a beautiful voice with great range, I would love for her to do some things that are more challenging. I think we're just scratching the surface of her talent.

Thanks Tristan for the review! I L💖VE DUA so much and her thick voice is what refreshes and updates her brand of 80s Disco pop. I wish she wouldn't try to minimize it and a blasting high note once in a while should've made this song 'something newer' than it sounding like a lazy, recycled excess from her Future Nostalgia album. ooh yes! her vocals were AMAZING! she's an incredible singer although i don't think it really suited Ariel's character in terms of the film. 'Part of Your World' is basically expressing Ariel's longing to be living in the human world, but Halle's take on it sounded more like a performance you'd expect from The Greatest Showman or something. just my opinion :) please no disrespect

I never noticed the croakiness in her voice before like where she says "my heart" around 6:40. It's interesting and unique. The song really does lack a high note at the end. It's like the song is building up to something and then it doesn't lead where you expect.
