All his stuff is amazing but if you want a real showcase of his skill and range you will want to react to his cover of Blackbird. There he stretches across his entire 5 octave range, complete with 5 part harmony. You're going to be absolutely blown away! Plus, since it's Halloween season you also have to react to his cover of The Headless Horseman. Loved your reaction and analysis as always Danielle!

High and Dry seems to be somewhat divisive with people for some reason from the comments I've seen on it (at least in comparison to some of his other covers), but it's definitely one of my favorite covers of his! It's a bit different from the others in style I think, but it makes for a really nice change of pace in my opinion! Anyways, I would second the recommendation to give it a listen!

It's likely been recommended to you before, it is well worth checking out the bass tutorials Geoff has on his channel. He describes (and demonstrates) how he accesses his subharmonic range, as well as discussing things like growl and fry techniques. And it's all done in a wonderfully entertaining manner; he's really good at addressing his audience in a personable manner, and discussing these techniques in a way that makes them understandable and accessible even for non-singers. It's fascinating stuff, honestly. As far as his solo works- just like VoicePlay, you're not going to really go wrong. He's got the Headless Horseman- perfect for spoopy season!-, Blackbird, which is utterly sublime, and of course, the video that sent him practically viral, 16 Tons. That song was how many of his newer fans (myself included) found him, and thus VoicePlay.

On one of his 'how to sing low' tutorial videos, he said "...your job as a singer is to keep all of your range, and not just worry about the low notes, you want to keep the high notes and the low notes...'' and that really stuck out to me. He self-identifies as a baritone, he wanted to be a tenor, all that, I think, attributed to the vocal range that he has now - he talks about it in the video. Also, men don't sing soprano and alto. It's either countertenor (highest), tenor, baritone or bass, and for women it's mezzo soprano, soprano, alto or contralto (lowest).

He did a close up live performance for patrons, and to be fair it doesn't sound much different. Just one of him, of course. Geoff's lowest note to date is a B0 subharmonic in VoicePlay's HALO. I love Geoff, he is one of the best Bass singers I've ever heard. He has a 5 Octave range. Tim Storms is the Genius record holder for the lowest bass note ever sung. It was a G-7 bas note that humans can't hear, only animals can hear it. Tom also is the Genius book of records holder for having the biggest vocal range at 8_10 Octaves. I like Geoff Castilucci better because he is much more clearer when singing.
