Rebecca, did you by chance notice that Tim Foust, the bass singer of Home Free has an extraordinary vocal range!?! He can easily cover a full 5 octaves or possibly slightly more! And he never expresses any strain, weaknesses or shakiness and is completely at ease in each range! You should review some of the compilation videos that exhibit his full range! It’s a talent that is a joy to experience!

Thanks for reacting to another Home Free song. You know there are several others that beg for your attention of course including Man of Constant Sorrow, Helplessly Hoping, The Butts Remix (if you ever have a bad day, this will make you laugh), Mayday (you want to have your mind blown, Tim, the man who hit the massive bass note at the end of this does higher tenor and another singer in Home Free does bass. Tim has a five octave range, the other singer (Adam Chance, known as Chance) has a 4 octave range in Home Free. Also, of course, End of the Road, How Great Thou Art, In The Blood and pretty much everything else they've ever done. You can also find video's of Tim's range (Tim Foust) and Adam Rupps beat boxing as separate items on youtube. Tim has blown out sound systems hitting things like A0. Yeah, A0 LIVE. Practically goes subsonic and you just feel vibration on some things. His higher range is beautiful too. I've seen them live. It's the same thing. While they do use a vocal looping system to help fill things in somewhat (by that I mean a person lays down say a percussion line and then is free to do other things with their voice while the looper continues the percussion) many of the tracks are just the five of them singing. Helplessly Hoping and How Great Thou Art there is ZERO Beat Boxing but tons of amazing harmony. While I'd love to see reactions to everything honestly I just want you to enjoy true masters of their craft. Oh and if you haven't seen it yet Chris Stapleton (and his wife Morgan) singing I Was Wrong is another one of those "I've been hit with a two by four to the face" moments sonically. I know you had a religious experience with his Tennessee Whiskey rendition (and that was his wife Morgan singing with him as well, the looks between them, you know there is love there (and four kids (lol)).

We are a loving, if slightly obsessed bunch. These boys are everything. Just watch their videos and enjoy. Your ears will thank you. React to the ones you want, but if you ask for suggestions you'll be inundated because their fans just love them so much. Austin Brown - High Tenor, Rob Lundquist - Lead Tenor, Adam Chance (goes by Chance) - Baritone, Tim Foust - Bass (and by bass, I mean has an over 5 octave vocal range. Can hit tenor 1 notes, and goes all the down to like an A0), and Adam Rupp - Beat Boxer extraordinaire. Man is so talented you can tell the difference between drumming with sticks and drumming with a brush kit. It's sick. As for Austin, the one suggestion I would make is to look up a live performance of him taking lead on Bring Him Home from Les Mis. Will blow you away. Love that you're reacting to these guys, now!

June Carter (daughter of Mother Maybelle Carter) was a member of the "first family of country music." She wrote "Ring of Fire" in the early '60s. At the time, she and Johnny Cash were an item--but not married. (That happened in 1968.) The song was first recorded by June's younger sister Anita Carter. This original version did not catch on, so after giving it a fair chance, Johnny adjusted the song a bit and recorded what turned out to be one of the biggest hits in his career. The Carter Family (Mother Maybelle, Helen, June, and Anita) was part of that version too--singing backup.
