super reaction. I would like to introduce you to a Korean singer. her back story. in one's twenties, she was diagnosed with early stage cervical cancer. She survived and beat it, but she was rendered infertile as a result of the treatment. She sings of the pain she feels from never being able to have her own children. The meaning of the song and how she deliver the song.. I feel her pain, I feel her story. Its so hurt inside. compelling to watch & listen to all of her performances. Is well worth a listen if only to massage your soul. May you be happy every day (with your friends and family) I'd appreciate it if you could respond to sohyang`s song. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y3iWaWuaiaZ6hdE - I Have Nothing [Whitney Houston] kzbin.info/www/bejne/fafWmHaiociBhqc - Lean On Me [Michael Bolton] kzbin.info/www/bejne/gqOxnImIp7Bqlas - The Power Of Love [Céline Dion] kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHPHhKObrbqrn80 - Will You Be There [Michael Jackson] kzbin.info/www/bejne/n4m1eJuGZa-Wprs - The Greatest Love Of All [Whitney Houston] kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZ6ve32BpNBmpJI - Desperado [Eagles] kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKm4coasZr9lirc - Bohemian Rhapsody [Queen] kzbin.info/www/bejne/pXqmp56Dp991qaM - Love Hurts [Nazareth] kzbin.info/www/bejne/n2TQqWd3paibbqs - Both Sides Now [Joni Mitchell] kzbin.info/www/bejne/aICzlomYeMx6f7s - When We Were Young [Adele] kzbin.info/www/bejne/ep-wiayFiMt-gZo - Bohemian Rhapsody(Other version) [Queen]

Gamerguy Nerd A few vocals : Massey, the film’s re-recording mixer/music mixer Paul Massey says “99.9%” of the singing in the film is Mercury. The rest is a blend of Malek’s voice with Mercury sound-alike Marc Martel. We only did that for vocals that didn’t exist, things like the audition scene in the parking lot, ‘Happy Birthday’ over lunch and writing ‘Love of My Life’ at the farm house,” Warhurst says. (Variety)

slynnc kitty Except, Martel recorded the entire soundtrack apart from the obvious studio recordings. His voice is used pretty much in every scene, including those where you hear Freddie. Freddie’s voice is a fusion of his voice and Marc’s voice.

I saw Queen on the Day At The Races Tour. Freddie started on the piano, moved to his feet and everyone left the stage during the operatic section and returned for the finale. The only time this song was sung the way Marc performed it would possibly have been at a session where Freddie shared it with the band. This is an epic version and one that leaves us in awe of Marc's ability as a singer, pianist and all around artist. It is a shame that the remaining members of the band think of Marc as an impersonator. They are missing out on something special. I think Queen fans would love to hear Marc's voice interpreting their music. It has worked for Journey, Styx and other bands. Please review Marc's other songs. You seem to his ALL the right notes. Thnx!

jason broad I absolutely agree with you! I also know for a fact that Roger actually doesn’t think of Marc as an impersonator. Here Roger says that Marc’s voice is natural. www.walesonline.co.uk/whats-on/music-nightlife-news/queens-roger-taylor-puts-together-7676679 May’s disregard for a fellow pro musician and his spiteful attitude toward Marc is kind of pathetic IMO, especially considering that Graham King clearly stated that if it weren’t for Marc, the biopic might have not had happened, BUT.. May’s frustration is understandable. Brian is simply threatened by Marc. And Marc is so greatly respectful of both Roger and Brian, and especially Freddie and his legacy! Essentially, Marc is May’s competition and pulls the focus from May’s multi-million dollar investment, which is that gaudy Rhapsody tour. Marc comes out in a T-shirt and knocks it out of the park. People LOVE him because he is an awesome musician, astronomically talented, and is gifted with Freddie’s tone to sweeten the deal. So, there is an immediate attraction there. And what’s the attraction of the QAL show? Hydraulics? May’s endless solos? It’s sad that May’s ego got the best of him really and he can’t seem to bring himself to acknowledge the great talent that Marc is. Also, it’s sort of too late. He has invested a few mil into the show, Adam is on a contract, the duo is trying to figure out how to retire while at the top. And Marc is topping them on sheer talent. It’s a travesty of a situation! IMO they could park at the Wembley for a month, sold out every bloody night, if they were singing with Martel, and go with a BANG! But, as it stands, May has driven himself into a corner of denial. And Martel is better off with his own band of A-mazing musicians he has an awesome rapport with and trusts. He doesn’t need M&T. So, May is angry because he is the proverbial loser in this situation. Just my thoughts.

jason broad Freddie was some special. Someone imitating him is not. Brian, Roger and all their fans who have been supporting them for that last 7+ years think Adam is pretty special. There are even us fans who have seen Freddie with Queen and now with Adam who now Adam is perfect for Queen. Joe Elliott (Def Leppard) Queen "For me the absolute highlight of last Saturdays show at the 3Arena in Dublin was Queen and Adam Lambert playing that song. (WWTLF) Unbelievable. The lights, the lasers, the sound, the performances of everybody on stage was absolutely top notch. If you haven't got a ticket yet, go see these guys. Legends of course we all know that. Adam Lambert will be the first to stand up and say he's no Fred, but my goodness one of the best live vocals I've ever heard. And Rick Savage who was sat next to me said exactly the same thing. Was Adam Lambert last week in Dublin." I saw Freddie's Queen and I've seen Queen with @adamlambert . BOTH men are extraordinary, phenomenal, other-worldly vocalists and performers...in completely different ways. Those that hate on Adam because he isn't Freddie have clearly never seen him do what he does. I was lucky enough to see Freddie sing, was unsure as to what to expect, in short was blown away, fantastic gig & am sure Freddie would be proud to have you continue the Queen legacy, have fun tonight My first concert was Queen at Slane Castle in ‘86. Saw Queen with Adam Lambert last year. You are in for a treat, enjoy! Saw Queen with Freddie 1975 Christmas Eve, tonight with Adam Lambert. Both incredible shows fronted by incredible showmen. Messrs May and Taylor constants of course. @DrBrianMay @OfficialRMT @QueenWillRock @adamlambert wow!! That gig will live in my memory forever, I was at Knebworth in 1986, miss Freddie’s voice so much, so happy you guys found each other! Thank you! #matchmadeinheaven I was fortunate enough to see Queen with Freddie twice. I have never seen anyone play to an audience like him. He was never afraid to take chances. I got lucky, and saw Queen with Adam live recently, and my jaw dropped. What a killer show they put on. Go see it! I've been going to see Queen live since 1978 but @DrBrianMay, @adamlambert and @OfficialRMT last night in Glasgow was phenomenal. Thank you!!!!! Hey mate, the bloody game was called off! Anyway we moseyed on up the toon, I’m just in actually after a 12.30 start, great day out. Queen were terrific mate,m I’ve been lucky enough to see Freddie Mercury in the 8O’s and Adam Lambert to his credit was a great front man 30 years since I have seen Queen and this was just brilliant! @adamlambert Freddie would be so proud Having not seen Queen without Freddie until now - I’m so pleased that I saw them @TheO2 with Adam Lambert last evening. It was one of the most incredible shows I’ve seen. Adam Lambert doesn’t attempt to replace Freddie but pays great tribute to his memory - an honour You know you loty Queenies....we make people rich. Told my relatives not to expect any monies upon my death because I am throwing it all at Adam and Queen. Saw Freddie 5 times have to say this time around is twice the fun. Fellow Canadians at the bar who had seen Queen with Freddie have to admit Adam's range far surpasses Freddie's. Guy beside me had seen Freddie 3 times, Paul Rodgers 2 times. LOVED @adamlambert Lots of OMGs, phenomenal & wows. Told you, I said. I last saw Queen in 1986 at Wembley London, Freddy was awesome back then. I was happily surprised by Adam Lambert... boygeorgeofficial Went to see @adamlambert performing with #Queen in Sydney and it was fabulous. Adam’s voice is astounding and he does not need to apologize for not being Freddy Mercury. Adam brings his own flavor to those timeless songs and he is a wonderful artist in his own right. Loved the glittering 70s platforms. Brian singing ‘love of my life’ was beautiful. No need to apologize Brian you bring beauty and vulnerability to my fave Queen song! Roger on ‘It’s A Kind Of Magic’ was also full of feeling. Very Bowie-esque and I loved the drum solos and Brian’s axe lamenting. It was a night with everything. GO you will live for it! @adamlambert I saw queen 5 times 77-86. Saw u with the guys in 2014 and again on Wednesday in Sydney. U enhance their brilliance and it is just as enjoyable watching them now as it was with Freddie.credit to you. Haha my dad a massive Queen fan. My parents saw Freddie live. Yes Freddie not Freddy. Now considers @adamlambert as “Freddie’s heir apparent”. Was stunned by his performance. This is Adams legacy

Excellent assessment! R-E-S-P-E-C-T!!! You really know what you are talking about, mate! Such a breath of fresh air! You have done a great job educating those who scream Martel is just a copy and an imitator. Your video is highly appreciated here!!! A definite sub to support you and your channel! May it grow prosperous! I would love to see comparisons of full songs, say “I will Always Love You” as sung by Chris Cornell vs Marc Martel, not as a competition, but to point out, for instance, different choices in phrasing, or utilizing various registers, etc. I think a lot of people can learn about singing technique from those kind of videos, as opposed to those where someone decides to compare different voice types singing the same tessitura, or just pick high notes out of context and praise those who climbs the highest. LOL Anyway, a fan already. 👍

The voice of Marc is very close but he is an imitator too.. Before I was saying the same thing "for me he wasn't" and I was insulting the guys who was saying that.. But I found a video where Marc say that he is trying to be more close of the Freddie's voice.. He is putting just a little bit sometimes to be more close.. So at this time he is not a real imitator but he is imitating Freddie's voice and not Freddie's mustache or Freddie's dress or these movements
@papabearM3

Am4fia No. In that video specifically Marc clearly states that he doesn’t know why he sounds like Freddie and that the more he tries to sound differently the closer to Freddie he sounds. Both Roger and Brian have stated before that Marc’s tone is naturally similar to Freddie. And that is a fact. He is NOT an imitator. And next time someone tries to convince you otherwise, just get them straight.

You need to listen to the singer Diana Ankudinova from Russia. She will surprise you greatly. Songs performed by her: "Derniere Danse", "This is the world of man", "Реченька" (translated into English - "River"), "Tomorrow Is A Lie" in a song show for children without parents "Ты супер" (translated into English - "You are super") when she was 14 years old, and songs: "Вьюга" (translated into English - "Snowstorm"), “Wicked Game” and “Human”, when she was 15 years old, are recognized as unique in her vision and her voice. Video with its performance gained tens and hundreds of millions of views. Each song in her performance is like a play. Her voice is compared to Cher's, but they consider it more profound. And this is when Diana is only 14-15 years old !!! Her transitions from a low voice to Yodel are very organic. Judging by the other people who respond to Diana's singing, and by the number of fans of her talent, tens of thousands of views of your reaction to her singing are guaranteed. Thank you.

@@sasha07775 That's how he learned to sing. Guess what? And so did many other singers. So, David Bowie was only an impersonator, right? kzbin.info/www/bejne/marYhpJshJxrftU What about Bruno Mars? There are ENDLESS videos of him copying, imitating, covering and impersonating Michael Jackson and being incessantly compared to him. Here is Freddie covering Elvis, imitating Elvis’ phrasing to the tee. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q5zbYXathKiHhJY So, would you say Freddie was an imitator then? What about Ariana Grande imitating Celine Dion? Go find it. Here is a video of singers imitating other singers. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYLSqXeamKunpas There are videos in which Roger Taylor is asked “How come your new album sounds so much like Rod Stewart is singing it.” What would be your answer to that? “Because Roger is an imitator?” The truth is all singers with an incredible pitch and great great control can and do imitate others.
