What is so amazing about Marcelito has never had any vocal training Zero. He discovered he could switch voice when he was 18. He didn’t win the trophy but AGT-the whole episode from start to finish was his huge concert. The others were the support acts I agree with you that it’s better that he didn’t win so he is free to do whatever He had the whole world as his stage to showcase his talent. He said right after the audition he was deluged with offers from different countries. He didn’t want that song for the finals he said that was a weak choice especially for the finals but it was Simon and his team chose it for him so in the end he is the winner. The real champion. Now have fun with him at The Remote Control Challenge at the GGV show just lately. 🙏 thanks

Even you will listen to his song repeatedly you will surprised on how he did it and goosebumps ever.. it's just so bad that simon didn't saw the talent marcelito have.. and he called it less predictable but we are very proud of marcelito his a people's champion....

You are so right. Sometimes it is best not to win in a competitio like AGT because you are forced to sign a contract and sometimes those non winners shine the most. In your case if you would join in any voice or singing competition Im pretty sure you have the big chance to win. You are a total package.

The story behind this song is that Simon and his team chose this song for him. Actually he was worried then because this song is not a so called contest song. According to him, he prefers to sing either Phantom of the Opera, We Are The World or Hallelujah. Simon is a fraud. He chose that song, Marcelito wanted to sing something else and Simon said no. Then in his comments he told Marcelito he should have picked a better song on a night like that it was too predictable and didn't have a better moment to shine. He not only lost but came in 4th place. Not justified. SIMON IS THE BOSS AND NOBODY COULD GO AGAINST HIM. Marcelito's face showed how disappointed and shocked by his comments but he stayed humble and didn't respond. But he is a World Champion touring the world singing in multiple languages.
