I think she's around early teens on that video. She's a Filipina, and we were also taught English and through English here in the Philippines (specifically American English or Philippine English variant). It's one of our two official languages, the other one being Filipino language (based and developed from Tagalog language - one of the dominant regional languages). Most Filipinos still speak their regional local language apart from the national language (Filipino) and English. So, most of us are trilingual or multilingual except those speaking Filipino/Tagalog and English only. Still most of us are really good English speakers, some understands and can speak simple English sentence, and some understands at least basic English especially young kids.

MOST of Filipino singers sing WITH EMOTIONS and they love playing with the music, they're having FUN, so making their OWN "version" is commonly noticed. I think these are the main reasons why filipinos are a very good singers. (Having the vocal talent is given, btw)

There I go again with the waterfalls. Do all Filipino singers have that effect on me, or are they all as gifted as it seems? This young lady has a totally different style from the little girl just before her had. But there is the same apprehension of the music, as if they have found the essence of the song and are demanding we feel it. Sheesh! I think I can only listen to 1-3 of these daily or my migraines will have field day with me. Sassa has an immense future ahead of her. I can not wait to see more of her. I'm stopping now.
