Super simple, however it's JK's voice that makes it incredibly special. He is one of my favorite artists by far. Sean couldn't have picked a better artist to sing this for him. Although I will say JK could kill us doing a cappella!! by the way, whenever the guys do solo songs... 98% of the time it will be each of them doing the harmony and ad-libs in the background they do all of it themselves.

Yes, JK is the most pop voice! He has such control over his voice and perfect pitch. It is very possible that the background harmonies that you did not care for so much were very likely done by JK himself. He always sang the song guides for BTS and is the king of adlibs as well as multi tonal harmony that he can lay the tracks perfectly.

You are absolutely right by saying that every member is brilliant and even on different levels harmonise together so well. And yes JK‘s album is a pop album, but in older behind the scenes you can see him singing with Tae with an opera voice sooo well. A KBS music director said that he has got the best voice of South Korea and I guess that if he tries he can also sing rock music, opera or whatever cause of his abilities. He is young, I hope after the enlistment he will try more genres and show it … Generally he seems to prefer singing slower songs and they go straight to the heart!
