7:25 When I saw Vocal changer on Vocaloid 6, I knew SOMEBODY was gonna use it to make Gumi sing/say something from Genshin. My life is complete now. Thank you for giving us this. Also Gumi's white collar matches perfectly with Venti's in the edit

Being a beginner English producer, Synth v is the best option overall if you want AI. Synth V just offers more than Vocaloid 6 or Cevio AI. I only bought Cevio AI because I felt fancy lol

As a beginner myself, is there a reason why you would want AI over other voicebanks? Is it because they sound more realistic or is there another reason?
@NanaMelodica Жыл бұрын
@@MyFictionalChaos the reason is because I mostly write songs in English and AI improves pronunciation a lot, so I don’t have to worry too much about phonemes which lets me focus on adding the emotion (vibratos, dynamics, etc) and doing the mixing.

I really like Harukas voice bank. I use a laptop and it runs fine with vocaloid 6, unbelievably smooth actually. The vocalo changer is really fun to mess around with, I really like being able to change the pitch of the recording too, it doesn’t give enough freedom but hopefully yamaha adds some new features.

Totally unrelated but theres actually a side-engine for UTAU (well, OpenUTAU) that supports AI vocals (and yes, that also means you can MAKE AI vocals) called NNSVS/ENUNU. Still not really important to the topic since its still free, and UTAU quality always fluctuates from the voicebank, but info is info I guess-

I haven't tried OpenUTAU yet, mostly seems like a big complicated step when I'm already using Vocaloid, Synth V and basic UTAU but I'll definitely try it in the future!

I really love how they the vocaloids voice higher and bright especially v6 and I love some of the lower voices. but I wish there was a tutorial. I think we could had have more voice setting again. They could have made changing the pitch quicker by all means. Everything else is pretty good to me. Especially tuning oh my god I love it. I also love their other softwares. I wish some vocaloids would not be just use for cover and I wish vocaloid 6 was like 100 dollars and not 200. Everything I love or do not have opinion on it. Hope u have a good sunday.

As Vocal Synthesizer listener I can say that Vocaloid 6 is a Half Cooked cake. I think Synthesizer V is the new king and example of how to really make High Quality AI Voicebanks and CeVIO AI it's learning and trying to be one of the best too but yet it has a lot of work. About CeVIO AI, I listened some covers and original songs with the software and the voices with a good tuning can sound really human, an example of it are Rose and Poppy, which are based on Bang Dream, they literally sound exactly the same to their VA in game. Another thing I'd like is that Yamaha should stop releasing Numbered engines for once, Synthesizer V, CeVIO AI and Neutrino receive updates without the needing of making a new standalone version of the previous one just to introduce new voices or new features.

Davee jonsey made a video about gumi, and apparently ( I can't confirm this). Internet co wanted to make a Gumi v6 voicebank since sometime in 2021 and told Yamaha this, but nothing came of it. Until after gumi ai voice came out and apparently Internet co threatened to go to a different engine with Gumi, and a little after that Yamaha made an offer for gumi v6.
I can believe it because most major third party developers jump ship Yamaha lack flagship vocal.

I guess Yamaha did Vocalo changer to assist pro singers with vocaloids backing vocals. The audio in is perfect in that case and the backing vocals follow immediately as well. If I sing out of tune and put my recording in there, garbage comes out, and difficult to correct. Vocalo Technology is interesting and unique. I am an owner of Vocaloid 5, and I also agree that I would expect the v5 voices at least be updated to the AI version (and even more). It seems that the AI in v6 is a step beyond more realistic than the voices in v5, yet I heard Loverboy's demos of Synthesizer V and I'm impressed (not only Solaria). Vocaloid upgrade price for me owner of 5 is currenty too high, Synthesizer V is competitive.

i really like v6, but tou gotta get the updates to get faster render and cut the track into 3 or 4, which isnt bad, cause it auto switches parts. im literally learning to sing just for vocalo change. if you cant sing it all at once, you just sing parts and time them and clean them in your DAW. i also think they-re to reduce notebends cause to many can slow stuff down and its harder to get a realistic sound from it Soley, idk how emvoice made it work.

Question is, can I still buy V4 and Vflower. Flower is just my favorite voice bank tbh. Or should I just get get flower on cevio/synth V? For now I mostly use PV with Teto, Ritsu and both ruko masc and ruko fem voice banks when it comes to songs. (also I hate how awkward it is to tune in PV. Because it's so limited, it's a problem with voice banks and every other instruments.) I'll probably make a video talking about PV later on the line and how ok it is compared to all the amazing vocal synth.

Unfortunately, Vocaloid 4's editor was completely discontinued but VFlower's Vocaloid 4 voicebank is still available on Yamaha's product page and works just fine in Vocaloid 6! However, Flower's Cevio AI voicebank has been delayed for quite some time so I don't know when that will release. As well as Cevio not being my favorite engine due to it's metallic sound quality, personally.

I love your videos tbh, could you also elaborate on the statement "too much engine noise for my liking" when mentioning cevio ai, could you elaborate by providing a vivid video link example? Also, I just realized something hearing you talk in this video .... your voice is a mix of luka and rin.
@WeebaLu Жыл бұрын
It's something that you need someone uploading a raw audio sample for, which I can't do because I don't have Cevio AI, but basically what I mean by "engine noise" is this heavily metallic sound that comes from the vocal with certain Cevio AI voicebanks, especially IA. Like I said, super hard to describe because there isn't really anything like it lol Thank you so much though! Rin and Luka are some of my favorite Vocaloids so that's a massive compliment for me!
@Khontadhondato Жыл бұрын
@@WeebaLu OOOooh, I see. Thank you a whole lot! ... And I absolutely get it, this metallic wave process sound is a cevio signature that's a bit prominent on some vocals indeed. And holy mf shit! what vocaloid program/version do you suggest for lower end computers/laptops?
@qvelium Жыл бұрын
I use a super low end laptop (crappy graphics and only 4gb ram) and every version of Vocaloid runs fine. Vocaloid 5 & 6 are a bit laggy and crash (very rarely), but for the most part they run well. V4 is my favorite, though, but I'm biased. The biggest issue would be storage. I would recommend getting an external hard drive. There are some super cheap ones that have like a terabyte on them. The average Vocaloid VB is about 2gb. However, some can go up to 5gb.

Yeah maybe with english vocaloid in synthv is wrong it used why you can't, you can only buy preexisting synthv ai voicebanks. you can make your own utau voicebank, but that would sound like an utau vb and not a synthv vb. this video used collaboration in "RVC" voice converter (ai) to make a synthv voicebank sound like defoko. if you'd like to "port" a non-synthv voicebank into synthv or make a synthv voicebank sound like yourself, you'd have to use that. honestly it used i have idea with in RVC Ai i think imagine about people it used experiment clearly with RVC ai to trained to fixed with cleaning vocal track voice character english dub to be careful of missing alphabets😅😅

So much for a.I. It seem that now vocaloid is behind. Yamaha are a mulitnatonial company that beat out by national Japanese company. I just blows my mind that a Japanese company did English better than multinational company that can easily get native speakers to did it. Also Yamaha is tone deaf about English speaking market. They seem to price them selves almost out of it. the English market is mostly of amateurs.There is not enough pros to keep the market alive. synthv is cheaper.
