I sold my Tiger 660 sports and now own a Voge 500dsx and I don't regret it, I was going to buy the Honda 500nx but it's boring and nothing compared to what you get with a Voge. My daughter and I go out for long rides, and it doesn't miss a beat, and as for the brakes, once they are bedded in, there is no drama, so another great review keep them coming 👍

But reality says that in 5 years, these firms and there bikes will have a good chunk of the market.... Good cheap affordable bikes.... With as much quality as most other builders.

Another great video, no fancy sunny exotic locations, just wet Yorkshire in summer! This is real-world testing. I would have thought that the Benelli bikes were the direct competition? The 702 with the free luggage possibly be the better option, I'm not sure if the 502 has the free luggage now. All of these bikes offer a lot for the money, especially if you plan to keep for a few years, thus avoiding the heavy initial depreciation .

The joys of a bike that can actually be used practically. These modern mid range twins have enough power that can be used daily on our congested and speed monitored roads. So many new and experienced riders alike are realising these bikes can be immense fun yet sensible too. Plus the incredible amount of gear you get as standard and at an astonishingly good price. 45 years ago if you had a 500cc bike that was considered a proper bike and yet most of them made less power than this modern one does. Truly ‘less is more’ when it comes to these smaller adventure bikes.

I saw these in a Ducati/Voge place in Jerez last month. It makes you think when you look at a loaded bike like this then the cost of a simple Ducati Scrambler. As ever though...l'd need more info before thinking of buying one with my own £. Parts supply for future is on my mind but also quality control, in a Triumph/Indian or BMW/Chinese collaboration they ensure their own European quality standards are employed in production. Their reputation is at stake. Another good video.

Thanks so much for getting soaked. Your videos are superb as usual and I always look forward to them sir. Interesting bike, these Chinese machines are getting better. I had a 2021 Benelli TRK 502 and the spec was excellent then but it was underpowered unfortunately. This year I have bought a new Honda NX500 and had to spend almost £7400 to get to the spec of this bike I tell you. I do love the NX as it's so light weight but I have to admit these bikes are very interesting if you need a smaller capacity ADV. The trouble is where I live in Worcestershire, I cannot find anybody supplying Voge or CFMOTO or any demo machines and this of course means issues with services etc unless you wish to do a very long ride!! If we had more dealers I would definately be up for a test ride on one of these. Thanks again for the superb video.

David, after this glowing review (knowing that there aren't too many dealers, therefore - not many on the streets, either) have you received any feedback from current owners? Would love to know if the tech works, the geegaws work and other than wooden brakes (sintered or EBC pads maybe?) there are no issues? It's very curious, as I would think there's a crazy demand for a bike like this.

Originally offered at £5700 otr without luggage or £6200 with luggage. Both options available in Europe however Moto GB are now only bringing in the latter variant and making out your getting the luggage for free , not sure why they have done so I’m sure they would sell more at the lower price as not everyone wants luggage so why pay extra for it. Lovely bike thanks for the review 👍 well priced if a cash buyer however should you take the finance route that’s not the case due to stupendously high APR being offered by Moto GB making it a less attractive option.

Great review Dave. Royal Enfield needs to step up their game because the Chinese bikes are taking over. That engine sounds great and you get a lot more features as standard equipment. To me the RE engines are too unrefined compared to other makes. That bike makes about the same power as the standard 650 RE engine and the Voge is only 525cc. I'm 6'2" andehen you sat on to show yourself and sitting position? That was to much bend in them legs, comfortable maybe but hours later? I think of Chinese bikes like Chinese phones. I've had a good number of Chinese phones over the years. Very cheap and very nearly as good as phones costing 8 times the price. In some areas they are actually better than the competition. The only downside it's when something goes wrong then you have no back up, they are disposable effectively. The current lot of Chinese bikes seem very good but once those warranties are expired then what? Would you be able for example to order master cylinder re build kits or caliper seals or a fuel pump, the list goes on. I think with the CF Moto brand you'd probably be ok because of KTM but these other brands..I don't know.

I took one out and thought that it was an excellent bike. I was about to buy one until I found out that it needs servicing every 3000 miles. I asked the dealer how much the servicing will be and he said around £250. I do around 6000 miles a year, so it would be an extra £500 annually! That was a deal breaker, so it didn't happen. They said that the servicing intervals aren't determined by the manufacturers, but the importers. I think that it'll put many people, off.
