• 2022 BMW F850GS Advent...
full specifications from the Voge website
The 900DSX is the fruit of the intense collaboration between the Loncin group, to which Voge belongs, and the best German engineering. This allows Voge to equip the 895 cc in-line twin-cylinder engine with a 270º crankshaft, liquid cooling with 8-valve DOHC cylinder heads and slipper clutch, in a trail bike of its own design and development for which a maximum power of 70Kw (95CV) at 8,250 rpm and a torque of 95 Nm at 6,250 rpm. A cutting-edge engine with maintenance intervals of 10,000 km.
It is worth highlighting its electronic safety equipment with LCA lane change assistance, warning of the proximity of other vehicles through a light in the rearview mirror, in addition to a very complete equipment that we invite you to discover and that includes, among other elements: cruise control CCS, TMPS real-time tire monitoring, QSS up&down quick shift, electronic throttle (ride by wire), power control with 4 driving modes; economical, rain, offroad and sport, heated grips and seat, this at an affordable 825 mm high, hand protectors, 5V/12V power outlets, double front disc (305 mm) and single rear disc (240 mm) Brembo, ABS detachable dual-channel, 21 and 17-inch tubeless spoke wheels, height-adjustable windshield, side guards, skid plate, stainless steel silencer, aluminum swingarm, luggage rack, Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tires, TFT screen instrument panel 7” in full color with different visualizations, 1080p HD front camera to record movements, connectivity with mobile phone, keyless system with one-button start, adjustable Kayaba suspensions with inverted fork and rear monoshock with 194 mm travel front and 198 mm rear and steering damper.
All this under a modern and attractive design to which is added as an accessory, a set of original aluminum side cases and top case "by Loboo" to match the motorcycle

Been looking forward to this, thank you for the review. Only issue here in the UK is lack of dealer network and dealers reluctance to take Chinese bikes in PX should you ever want to move it on. It's a shame as that's all that's stopping me putting a deposit down on one tomorrow. Look forward to your future findings...

voge have a full dealer network in Spain. For sone reason it's done through a third party Moto GB. But that may change. Thanks for the comments. Ride safe.

BTW, I've just test ridden this bike from Moto PC in Portimao (2 days ago) currently on a Tuareg 660, great bike (now sold) the Voge rode as smooth as butter 👌👌👏👏

Currently shown as £9000 on the road here in the uk on Moto GB site so we’re shafted on price already by around £1500 compared to Spain. What they need to watch is the APR offered on financing its rather high compared to some competitors making it not such the bargain it first seems if comparing monthly payments.

Prices have started to rise after the initial offers France now with the full luggage on Vogel FR is a whipping 12500 Euro Germany still offering at 10800 Euro Spain and Portugal till end of May for orders still 9700 Euro with the luggage. Crazy price. It's a Shame all markets are not the same. The rate it has sold though it was inevitable the price would rise, the Euro 5 Himalayan 411 jumped up 1000 Euro or 20% after sales took off. Thank you Paul. Just found this Video. Anyway i would not compare this bike to the BMW that much, we have not to defend ourselves. For sure BMW made some regulations what to do or what not to do with the bike. Some stuff is just different so subjektive, some stuff is painfully like the 17 Liters tank limit. You also see that they "stretch" it optically, so my bike will maybe loose the crash bars and the front panels soon to make it more look like an Enduro 😅 BTW the travel suspension is, confirmed by the german importer, front 205mm and back 220mm. They talked about the european version and not only germany. Drive save and thanks for all the fish 😅

No it's not a BMW, I was just pointing out BMW have been using Loncin engines for a while, just like before they used a Rotax engine, the 900 is a fantastic bike, it's definitely caused waves in the Market here in Spain. It's the number 1 selling bike by a long way. Ride safe and thanks for the comments ✌️

I also think the German version may have taller suspension and seat height than ours, our seat height is stated at 825, whilst the German site states 850. Our suspension is also a bit lower that maybe the reason
@marcbrummel8566

@@motechRevolution Hey Paul. Nobody ever measured the other european versions. Well its also nearly impossible because it depends on the structure of the seat, or better how much you sink in. On the other hand how to measure the maximum suspention travel without breaking it. 😅

I've ordered the black one, comes in August. Do you know if the Givi BF11 tank ring fits this model 🤔

Not sure, if the Givi tank ring will fit, but I'm guessing by August there will be a ton of accessories for it. I like the black one it looks cool. But I have had a matt black one before, never looked clean in our Spanish climate, showed dust and water marks like crazy. Kept clean looks stunning though

Why a twin of a F850GSA? The actual BMW midweight adventure is the F900GS and there the adventure trim. Or is the model name in Spain 850 instead of 900? Just curious because also another UK guy mentioned a F850 as twin to the Voge.
@motechRevolution
@motechRevolution 27 күн бұрын
A lot of the components are similar to the f850gs although the he engine is similar to engine and gearbox in the older f900r or the the f900xr. Info is very sketchy as all the engines are Loncin designed and built from a brief from BMW. The other probable answer is that the f900gsa and the VOGE share the same engine, but under agreement from BMW its limited to 95hp, although it could be to be in the A2 restricted max bhp. Whichever it is it sounds and rides like a BMW f850gs. The jury is still out. Thanks for your input. Ride safe ✌🏻 Edit the weight is also exactly the same as the f850gsa

@@motechRevolution ok, thank you. I was just curious but now I understand that the Voge is based on the old BMW F850 but not on the all-new F900. Good review, enjoy your bike in Spain and ride safe.

@@TheWuselnThe new f900gs is basically the same engine as the previous 850gs, bmw just over clock/increase the horsepower in the new f900gs.
@motechRevolution
@motechRevolution 3 күн бұрын
The new engine bore is 895cc the f850gs was 853cc so it's not an over clock, it's the same engine over bored to a higher capacity. BMW already had a different 900 engine bore in it's other f900r bikes for some time now. The 900 XR being the same 95hp as the voge 900DSX

So what to choose this or cfmoto 800mt
@motechRevolution
@motechRevolution Ай бұрын
I would say if you have experience with the KTM 790 or BMW F850GS engines that will probably be your guide, Personally I was interested in the CF Moto 800 mt but the explorer version which was €12000 here in Spain a huge €3000 more than the VOGE. But that was last year. I prefer the styling on the VOGE, but the price was a no brainer for me. Another consideration is that VOGE is now number 3 in Spain by sales and the dealer network is extensive. CF Moto not so much, Thanks for the comments. ✌️

@@dsmpampis it’s a personal choice I would want the Explore model which is now €12300. It depends on your needs there isn’t much between them. Except the €3300 of course. why pay high BMW tag if the engine is Chinese anyway, better get this I think.
@motechRevolution
@motechRevolution Ай бұрын
Most brands outsource manufacturing now Apple being the most well known. The engine, chassis etc are all German engineering, just produced in China. So Technically if BMW opened a manufacturing plant in China staffed by Chinese it would still be a BMW. Location for Build is not relevant. Just because German men and women don’t make and assemble it, doesn’t mean it’s inferior. The Chinese have some of the world’s best technology. That said a lot of people will now think much more about paying double just for a badge. The more I ride mine the more I’m blown away.

@@motechRevolution I may be wrong but in this case the engine was actually not designed by BMW but BMW bought it from Loncin. It's not that same engine as in original F800GS mounted by Rotax in Austria.

@@andrewsoldan6050 Interesting I knew that Rotax made the original engine prior to 2005. Interesting article below. If the engines are designed and developed by loncin, it puts a whole new spin on the argument for the Voge range. www.loncinindustries.com/en/RV/NewsDetail.aspx?catid=772&id=2146789734
