We're heading up in June. Thank you for the video. It appears that site numbers have changed with the renovations and addition of sewer hookups. The site that you stayed in is now site 48.

Went there the very first time in Summer of 1968. I was just getting out of the 6th grade. There's been ALOT of changes there since then. It still looks Great though. I'm in the process of buying a new RV so hopefully one day I'll make it back to Vogel.

It’s a great location to visit. We certainly felt when visiting and staying there it is a place built upon memories like you have described. Thank you for sharing and watching the video!

I've been going to Vogel since the late 80s when I was a kid, and it has not changed much. We love it so much it's one of the first places we are taking our new 2022 Sol Horizon as soon as it's delivered in April. Your videos (especially specific to the In-Tech have been invaluable as we prepare for our first travel trailer.

Is there cell phone service here?
@CouchPotatoCamping Жыл бұрын
It’s very limited. We have Verizon for reference. Back in the campground we received little to no signal. The signal is stronger close to the visitor center and on that side of the lake. Thank you for watching!

We really want to get to Vogel! Definitely going to remember site 44. We don't mind being close to the bathhouse, but site 59 really looks like where we may try to snag if we get lucky!!

Do you know if your video was before or after the renovation and renumbering?
@CouchPotatoCamping Жыл бұрын
It was before the renovation and renumbering. A few people that have been there since have said the numbers have changed.

Website says Y for sewer for site 43 but looking at your video and tour doesn't look like the sites have sewer and you mentioned 44 didn't have sewer. Can anyone confirm if any sites have sewer or is it only a dump station?
@CouchPotatoCamping2 жыл бұрын
Kenneth, unless something has drastically changed since our visit to Vogel and the making of our video, the only campsites in Vogel that had sewer hookups at the campsite were the dedicated (non-reservable) camp hosts sites. Otherwise, all RVers will need to use one of the dump stations near the front of the campground section of the park. FYI: Another thing I just noticed on their website is they have renumbered the campsites since our visit and the making of our video. It appears Site #44 - where we stayed - is now Site #48.

@@CouchPotatoCamping thanks. I see online where they are making modifications and adding sewer to about 50 sites

They have just renovated this part of the park so I’m pretty sure it is now full hook up.

How far up the mountain do you have to drive to reach this park?
@CouchPotatoCamping2 жыл бұрын
It further off the beaten path (major highways) than we expected but it’s a great destination that is family friendly and worth a visit. It is by no means near the top of the mountain but the drive is scenic.

Does 45 have creek access?

We can’t say for sure since it has been awhile and don’t remember.
