Vogue probably gave thousands of dollars to the designers to deconstruct the dress.

Lol I can assure you they didn't. This is Area's chance to show the public (or people who aren't familiar with the brand) what they're about. Content like this is what makes the brand money on the long run. Exposure exposure exposure.

@tomasgallardo52724 жыл бұрын
@@jcaylalove8713 Uh, yes actually. High fashion isn’t made in factories; it’s made in ateliers. Designers create such pieces and it’s almost insulting for you to say that this is a product of slave labor. High fashion costs top dollar for a reason, no expense is spared. Why argue when you know nothing and can’t even back up your statement with evidence or reasoning? Please feel free to explain this time around.

So that the crystals can be reused. For example, they do the same to the Victoria's Secret Fantasy Bra. If it is not sold after a year, the bra is deconstructed so that the gems are used for other things.

Two things stand out, for me: 1) I would not consider this beautiful piece of art as a dress. It’s more like a halter vest. 2) They never mention how heavy this piece must be. Those crystals must be far heavier than bugle beads or any type of bead, for that matter.
