@@VoGusProspecting hi id like to help you out to find more gold than you been finding i have a alot better method to help you find gold if you want to find a magnitude of bundance gold in 15 min is i can build a very large sluce and have a small diesel excavator equipment and a gas powered water pump to extract the dirt and water from the creek and extract a ton of dirt a hour just imagine how much a ton of dirt could per hour you could hit the mother load

I love seeing how God chose to bless you that day. By leading you to the perfect spot straight on... I love hearing the excitement in your voice. Also it shows me that my prayers are being answered... You keep on seeking on your end and we'll keep on praying on our end. I sure there's going to be many more days like that one. If you keep listening to that inner voice that comes from down deep in your gut... My grandmother always called it your gut feeling. Always trust your gut feeling it's usually right... Be blessed... Vo-Gus Prospecting i can image. I was talking to the wife whilst watching the video. I said even just the effort in setting the tripod to walk up and then past it. And the scenery footage then add in the boot/shoe change scene is such a time taker
@VoGusProspecting6 жыл бұрын
The filming itself isn't as much of a problem as is the foresight. I spend a large amount of time planning out sequences to get the right footage. And doing multiple takes to make sure one of them will work.

I'm just re-watching this video and thinking about the fact that we've had a lot of wildfires here on the West Coast of North America in the last few years... ...I'm going to take that "learny bit" and put it to some good use (doing research!)... ...Thanks! Also, after your video on the ribbed matting on your Croc, I went ahead and added some to my Bazooka Sniper... ...I'm not sure that the gold retention went up due solely to that (increase in capture area and diversifying capture methods should lead to that...), but it DOES make it a LOT easier to sample without cleaning out every 20 shovels or 3 tubs or whatever... ...but I stay on the gold more, so yield for time spent in the field is definitely up. I'd read about adding matting elsewhere and thought, "Maybe..." Thanks for showing it to us (twice now?), because it motivated me to do it, and it's making prospecting more efficient... ...which is Awesome!
@VoGusProspecting6 жыл бұрын
jarod phillips the matting only makes a difference in gold take if you're dealing with super fine gold, but like you said it makes a huge difference in being able to see the quality of the dirt you're working. Good luck out there.
@jarodphillips12496 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Took a few days off this weekend to hit it hard while my wife is out of town. I've got several spots that looked good last year just coming out of the water, so it looks promising! All I ever find in Washington (state) is fine gold. Here's hoping to a picker or two this weekend!
@jarodphillips12496 жыл бұрын
Do you pull your mat off after every time you go out? I glued mine in a way it'll come off, but I haven't removed it yet... ...I figure some winter day I'll pull it and pan the dirt under it (if there is any)...
