Fun fact to show how good they all are... in a high note battle, the main dancer SuA won, followed by 2nd place main rapper Dami xD this is the only group with an all rounder members group that one would find it so hard to find a bias (they are all my biases). They all can sing, rap and most of all their personality is off the chart! And their live performance is even better with live band and choreography! For songs you should react to, I would suggest Wind Blows, Black Or White, Sahara, Break the Wall, Starlight, Fairytale, Curse of the Spider etc. apart from their title tracks. Most of their B-sides are title tracks quality, no kidding! Their recommendation list is actually endless & I don't want to kill you with the reading... xD

First of all Sorry that I'm late I never got the Notification until now, Second of all YES YES YES! I am so glad that you reacted to Dreamcatcher they are such a Phenomenal Group as well they are Absolutely Insane as you can see they usually go for a more kind of Rock/Metal sound but they have Sings that are completely different! Here are the Members so you can get to know them better, the First Girl is Yoohyeon with the Bluish Sliver hair with the buns she is our Lead Vocalist in the Group and her Vocal Range is pretty good she can do a lot of things, and also if and when you get to know them more you'll see that she is very Clumsy and is such an Adorable Dork! The Second Girl is Handong she is our Vocalist and even though she doesn't have many roles she can pull off really anything and they should definitely give her more Lines because her Vocals are Insane as well (And when you check out Deja Vu her "Holding this Pain" line is just Gorgeous) another thing about her is that she was not here for the Scream or Boca era because she was in China quarantining, she is also pretty reserved and Elegant but when she's with her Members she is pretty Chaotic! The Third Girl is Gahyeon she is our Vocalist, Lead Rapper, and Maknae of the Group she is the one with the Silverish hair with different colored eyes and was sitting next to that Computer, she has pretty soft and cute Vocals and even though they are pretty soft she does have power and her Rapping is Insane when she gets to Rap, she is also the Baby of the Group and is very Adorable but she is also pretty chaotic and she is Loud Member #2! The Fourth Member is Sua she is our Main Dancer, Vocalist, and Lead Rapper of the Group her Vocals are actually pretty Insane she can hit some pretty high and or low Notes, her Dancing is Insane, and even though she doesn't really Rap anymore she can still go Crazy if she wanted to, and something you should know about her is that she is a Crackhead, she is Loud Member #1, and don't get me started on her laugh it is so Funny and very Contagious! The Fifth Member is Jiu she is our Leader, Lead Vocalist, Lead Dancer, and Visual of the Group and her Vocals as well go absolutely Insane they are kind of High and really soothing, her Dancing is Crazy she goes off when she wants to, don't get me started on her Visuals, and even though she is our Leader and kind of the Mom of the Group she can also be a Kid and or the Fake Maknae which is Adorable she is also the Sunshine of the Group she agsin is so Adorable! The Sixth Member is Siyeon our Main Vocalist of the Group she is the one with the Short Blonde hair and is the one sitting in the Chair she is the one usually doing the crazy Vocals in the back (Sometimes it's Yoohyeon and or maybe Jiu but it's usually Siyeon) her Vocals are Insane she goes crazy with her Vocals and even though they are usually kind of high she can hit those low Notes as well, and she is also a Crackhead (The Unnie or Oldest line are always Crazy) she (with Dami) is also the Girl Crush in the Group! The Seventh and final Member is Dami our Main Rapper, Lead Dancer, and Vocalist of the Group she is the Rapper with the Insanely deep voice (Her Voice is one of the Deepest in K - Pop) her Rap goes crazy pretty much every time and every once in awhile when she sings her Vocals are just Wow and even though her Voice is deep she can go pretty high which shocks a lot of people, she also seems like the cool and pretty Mature one which she kind of is but she again is also a Goofball as well! Lee Siyeon (pronounced She-on), the blonde, has a few songs you should check out. Paradise (original) and Speechless ( Aladdin cover). Then Shadow (feat. Dami, the rapper), has two versions. One is rock, the other is slower and piano driven. Lots of belts in Shadow slow version. Edit: Shadow is a soundtrack song for Black Hole. As for the videos, it is just snippets of the show unfortunately.

I'm so happy to see a dreamcatcher react, they are my absolute favorite group. Their use of rock/metal elements into their music is so alluring and then they hit you with these amazing vocals and visuals. They also do their music in a story format where each release builds on the last one. For instance, odd eye was the conclusion of their dystopia storyline which started with scream, then went to boca, and finally finished with odd eye. The nightmare story, which technically started with their debut track chase me (though the song fly high is a prequel of the series) and concluded with breaking out, was an absolute ride. I can't wait to see you react to more of their work because their b sides are just as beautifully done as their title tracks.

Here are timestamps for each of the girls when they appear and sing simultaneously: 0:15 Yoohyeon (You-hyon): Blue space buns, first one to sing in the song. Lead vocalist and lead dancer. 0:47 Handong (Hahn-dong): Goes by Dongie. Blue hair, white dress in one scene, bright red shirt later. Lead vocalist. 0:51 Gahyeon (Kah-hyon): Youngest member (known as a maknae in K-pop). Brighter hair tone, later in the song with stickers on her face and dark hair. Lead vocalist and lead rapper. 0:57 Sua (Soo-ah): I always find that her voice is raspier than the others. It has an airy quality. She's shown later in the video with markings on her face and a big lightstick. Main dancer and sub-rapper. She's also responsible for some of the group's choreos. 1:03 Jiu (Jee-you): Eldest member, leader of the group, lead vocalist, and lead dancer. Her voice is super easy to pick out once you know it well. It has a nasal-like sound. 1:08 Siyeon (She-yon): Main vocalist and usually everyone's favorite because of her looks. Bleach blonde in this video with some very strong expressions. Her eyes are always gorgeous too. 6:40 Dami (Dah-me): Main rapper, lead vocalist, and has written several songs for the group. She did appear earlier in the video slightly before you paused it, but I figured I'd just timestamp her here since this is when her part officially starts and you get to see and hear most of it. For just a bit more context, the role categorization in K-pop helps distinguish which members have more of an edge in a given area. The roles are sub, lead, and main. So Siyeon is the main vocalist while most other members are lead vocalists simply because Siyeon has the most range and power over the others, but this is not to say that the others are not great at what they do of course. It's just a way they are more easily distinguished. Additionally, in K-pop, most groups have a name they give to their fandom or those that stan/follow the group. If you're a fan of Dreamcatcher, you are an InSomnia or Somnia for short. The significance of the word is that "in somnia" in Latin means "within dreams" and so Dreamcatcher has taken to that and combined the phrase into "InSomnia", capitalizing the "I" and "S" respectively to detach it from the more medical term "insomnia". In a variety of fiction, dreamcatchers are meant to keep nightmares away. Dreamcatcher's catchphrase is "Dream of me" or "Dream of us". So they are telling their fans to dream of them so that they can catch our nightmares while we are "InSomnia" or "within dreams". Hopefully that all makes sense. I like the theme of it all. It's neat. I do want to mention something if you decide to react to more of this group. Handong, the Chinese member, ended up leaving to go back to her home in Wuhan, China during 2020 to be on a show called Youth With You. After she was done, she couldn't leave to go back to Korea to be with the rest of the group because of Covid. She had to stay in China for most of 2020 because of this. Thus, a majority of the songs, videos, etc. that were released in 2020 by the group do not feature Handong. "Odd Eye" was actually the first song Handong was able to return for during late 2020 before the song came out at the end of January this year. I really hope you react to this group more. They deserve it! I also hope that my timestamps helped. If you listen to the group more, you'll be able to pick out who is singing anytime without even seeing their faces. Only took me about a week of constantly listening to their stuff, haha. Have fun diving into the rabbit hole of K-pop!

As for suggestions, there is a video of them seeing one of their B-sides, "Wonderland" live on Arirang Radio show. It's a well-known clip as they basically goof off the whole time, but still nail the live delivery, which is pretty typical of Dreamcatcher.

if you want to hear siyeon (blonde girl) truly release her belting powers, the 4 Memory live versions she truly shows it. Holding the mic 1m away just to do adlibs w/o overshadowing the other members. she has such a powerful voice.

thank you so much for reacting to dreamcatcher, i really enjoyed watching your reaction!! for vocal performances i would recommend an esquire performance. for stage performances i would recommend a stage mix. videos like that combined multiple performance into a single one. if you want to react to some more music videos i'd recommend deja vu, scream or boca. i'm looking forward to hopefully seeing more dreamcatcher reactions!

Video has some serious production value too. Looks fantastic, and if they can pull that off live on stage I would be impressed. Obviously with a fair amount of backing tracks, but still. I don't care for pop stuff, K or otherwise, but the song is catchy and they can sing.

The moment you mentioned "Some absolute WEAPON...", the lead and main vocals sang those lines together. I'm sorry, I am not into the music theory and stuff, but to describe it, the higher range, piercing vocals on those lines belong to the main DC's vocal Siyeon. And in my opinion, she can be described as "the absolute weapon", she is one of the best vocalists of that kpop generation DC belongs to. During the live stages, she sings that line doing a "barrel roll" choreo move.... Thank you for your reaction.

Siyeon's performance of "Overdose", perfectly shows off her range, abilities, and presence. She sang for a rock band in school, before Minx and Dreamcatcher, and she does an amazing job of that style, in my opinion.

Siyeon (blonde bob) is basically Dreamcatcher's dedicated belter. Any time you hear something entering that C#5+ range, thats our girl. In the final chorus, Yoohyeon (space buns) is the one you hear supporting Siyeon's belt. Generally, when you think of powerful high notes, one of them is to blame. If its a belt, it is 100% Siyeon Dreamcatcher is multitalented. Dami (rapper) is one of the girls singing in the bridge, and she has more singing lines in other songs. Also, Handong is the second girl with the darker tone. She is chinese, and was out-of-country for a year and a half, so some of their songs ("Scream" "Boca" "Black or White" "Red Sun") will be missing her. JiU (white dress in front of the tree, pink streak) is the leader of the group, and she tends to have the softest vocals of the group. It becomes noticeable in live performances in contrast to Siyeon. Gahyeon (stickers on the face) is the youngest. She is both a rapper and a vocalist. You can hear her rap in the beginning of verse 2 in "Scream" SuA (pigtails, writing on face and neck) is the main dancer. She has a very loud and high pitched laugh that the other members tease often. Also! Did you know that all the members have a representative phobia? JiU- being chased SuA- being restrained Siyeon- claustrophobia Handong- scopophobia (eye contact/being watched) Yoohyeon- being lost Dami- scars or being in pain Gahyeon- falling

Siyeon, the blonde belter and Handong, the second girl have my favorite voices in the group. They both have solos too. In terms of live vocals, they sang scream live on arirang radio channel (honestly even their car karaoke version sounds great), they did Boca and Odd Eye live on Esquire. They do sing live while dancing and you can usually hear them over the backing track and sometimes even hear the way the dance moves alter the voice. One of my favorite moments in their live performances was when they sang 4Memory during their Utopia showcase and Yoohyeon (the space bun girl) did her crazy runs and Siyeon did a long sustained belt in the final chorus, for that matter even the long sustained note in New Days is impressive.

Lol the “weapon” who sang those adlibs is the blond one, Siyeon (who you correctly point out for her insane stage presence). Yoohyeon (space buns) is also capable of hitting those, and they often trade off on the crazier ad libs, but Siyeon has a bit more power and stability. They both have different and beautiful tones too which add so much in tandem.

Wolfie SiYeon, the short blonde bob, is a freaking beast on stage. She has grown so much over the last 5 years, she has learned to manipulate her stage persona as if she's wielding sharp knives, she can cut through the performance and stand out so much. She loves performing, she lives for it. But, strangely enough, she a real shy dork in real life... She is so adorable!
