I'll recommend Deja Vu, Dreamcathcher company tends to do extreme metal to one of the most whimsical ballets to jazzy rnb so the vocal technique and styles are very unique with this group, they tends to favour more stylistic and more different and unique approach on their vocal and overall musical performances hence the fandom jokes about saying that Dreamcathcher developed their own genre' of music so their music productions are so unique

Glad to see you reacting to Dreamcatcher again. Love your insight, knowledge and breakdown of their vocal techniques in the song. I always learn so much from watching your videos. They have a live band version of 'Wind Blows' that doesn't have a noticeable overlapping vocal track. Maybe you could do a comparison of the studio vs live version. Theres a really sick live version of boca on esquire koreas channel where you can really hear their vocal quality without a lot of it being buried in the mix, you should definitely listen to that. For new songs to suggest, I think youd enjoy Eclipse. Its a japanese song and leans more on the rock/metal sound. Good night is another good one, one of their early songs and has a really interesting bit at the end of the song you would probably like. If youre a fan of siyeon, you could check out a couple of her solo songs like Return or Paradise, or Shadow, her duet with dami. Loved these halloween reactions btw, got a lot of laughs from the combination of tipsy and fang lisping

Yoohyeon, the "Drop Thunder" here and recently promoted to co-main vocalist, just casually whipped out the chorus of Mamamoo's I Miss You in a Vlive recently. And holy crap! Dreamcatcher has so much they haven't used in published songs yet. Deja Vu is a great choice it's Siyeon-heavy and you'll have a field day when you get to THAT PART (everyone knows what part I mean and it isn't Siyeon). For different approaches I feel like July 7th is heavily underrated and no one else will mention it because it's so subtle including a couple of fun glissandi. And all that but even more is the song '괜찮아!' which is basically the opposite of title track Dreamcatcher.

First off, I LOVE your Vampire costume, Julia! World-class makeup! SERIOUSLY AMAZING! Well done! Second, of course the song. Boca is the second/ middle of a trilogy of a storyline. The original MV has 'decently accurate' English CC. The song prior to Boca in the trilogy is called Scream. Scream's official MV has a surprise in the lyrics; names are given for which member can be heard singing at each of their turns. This helped me IMMENSELY in figuring out who-is-who in the group for face recognition and what each member sounds like. Granted, face recognition is still tricky because the members still color their hair differently between comebacks and their faces change a little bit with age and weight fluctuations. There are members who really resemble each other which is also complicated by sharing the same makeup artist... SuA and Siyeon look alike quite often, but Siyeon is the taller of the two and the High Belter (SuA is actually the shortest member of the group and their best dancer). Handong and Yooohyeon get mixed up ESPECIALLY when they both have the same hair color; reportedly, both of their own mothers even mixed them up once while watching videos of their comeback at the time. I am very nearly blind and I am relatively new to the fandom (InSomnia) but now a year later, I can tell the ladies apart without difficulty. I think I have watched all of their main Music Videos and I have also seen many of their other videos, not just music but slice-of-life stuff, live streams, etc. Some of them even have solo music videos or dance cover videos. Wow this was very unexpected, I loved your first reaction to their song Odd Eye and I'm excited to hear what you think of this song too. What a great treat for this halloween :) Edit: since you asked for some recommendations some of my favourites that come to mind are: "Scream" - There's also a "flat eq" performance of this where they're sat down on a radio show, a bit of overlap with a backing track if my ears are hearing it correctly but you can hear them pretty clearly over it. Be warned they are a bit goofy in this but might be nice to compare/contrast from the studio version. "Black or White" - One of my favourite songs of theirs "BEcause" - their latest release "Wonderland" - A bit different stylistically from their usual rock inspired sound (a lot of their bside tracks are pretty different stylistically from their usual rock sound) For more vocal oriented stuff it would probably be more solo/duo/trio performances, their cover of "I Love you" is an absolute must to hear Siyeon, SuA and JiU's vocal tones and approaches. Siyeon also has a cover of "Speechless" from the aladdin soundtrack, there's plenty more but I'm sure other fans will tell you about the others and my comment is already too long lmao, sorry about that, but those are some of my "must listens"

That's an awesome clip to react to for Halloween (and your costume is ON POINT 😍). Love hearing your take on the musical choices and vocals (have seen all of your Mamamoo ones a while back but just rewatched them after this!). DC and MMM are the only 2 kpop groups i follow that i can put their discography on shuffle as i work and not have to keep going back to the phone to skip. I second everyone's recommendation for Deja Vu if you want something that still has their rock element but in a different variety (symphonic). Besides other things people recommended, Siyeon + Sua + Jiu have a live cover of a song called I love you and i think it really show cases their vocals. I just stumbled upon this third Vampire Julia masterpiece and I'm guessing less 'blood' had been imbibed before this one, than before the INK video analysis. This was much more rapid-fire, much less wonderfully chaotic, and with laser-like focus on the vocal analysis. Very impressive. The fangs may be painful, but they do force you into this different mode of speech that lends itself perfectly to the character. You were obviously way more into the technicalities of this analysis, because you dropped the elaborate Victorian (the Queen, not the State) accent completely for this one. That accent was the 'pies de resistance' for the VJ character (besides the glass of red), and you absolutely nailed it in the first (Nightwish) video. Vampire Julia is simply magnificent. I hope she returns for cameo appearances regularly, but I'm guessing all the props and make-up took some time, so it may be a hell of a lot of work, and I know you're probably as busy as well, Hell, these days. It also took me until the last video to consciously register the change in background colour for your set too, which totally nailed the ambience. Capital!

I really enjoy your analysis and you make it easy to understand. They have some live stuff that are worth checking out, but will have to do a thinker on ones that doesn't have their lighter approach to their verses. They tend to stick with that on their releases. Off the top of my head, maybe "Don't Light My Fire," which is one of their Japanese B-side tracks. They tend to sing deeper in that song, but I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for? Overall it’s still very powerful but different from their fast-paced and high-energy songs like this one. You’re also totally right about the Kingdom-like styling for this video! Been waiting for you to react to BOCA because it showcased Siyeon's voice well, from the soft, whispery prechorus to her powerful belting high notes at the end of the song. If you're interested in her vocal, you should try listening to her duet with Dami (the rapper!) in "Shadow", especially the slow version. It only has music clip that used footage from the drama (it's an OST) though so might be harder to recognise the vocals if you're not used to them yet. (It worths your time though istg).

I really agree with your points on where Siyeon's belt is in the mix. The first couple of times I listened to the song, I mostly missed the ad lib parts, cuz I was paying attention to other things and it didn't really stand out. It was only after other people commented on it that I started hearing her.

Love your reaction and analysis of this song. I figured and hoped that you get the vocal awesomeness of this song, because of some of your other reactions. If you want more of Dreamcatcher's vocal prowess, I'd check out either "Deja Vu", "Scream" or "And There Was No One Left" in terms of videos. Also, check out some of their live stuff. Like Mamamoo, they also do a lot of live videos. Also, the Deja Vu music video's English subs have the names of each person's singing part, so that you can put the face to the name...so does Scream.

Dreamcatcher all one of my main groups! They have so much talent. You should check out their main MV if you want to get the lyrics, as the translated English lyrics are available. This actually is part of a "story" or theme that started with "Scream" & continues into "Odd Eye." Centers around dealing with online bullies, haters generally, the search for Utopia, etc. They don't really have a bad song, but "Scream" & "Odd Eye" are faves, along with "BEcause." "PIRI," "You & I," & "Deja Vu" are also very popular, as are Bsides "Paradise," "Red Sun," "Sahara," & "Black or White". "Endless Night" is a great Japanese song of theirs. "Fly High," "Chase Me," "What," & "Good Night" all show off more of their earlier sound & styles. "R.o.S.E Blue" is a fun song that's actually meant to support a video game. I've only just found you (& subscribed already after 1 video), but you'd love Mamamoo, Red Velvet, (G)I-DLE, & PIXY when it comes to strong vocals.
