I’m sure you’ve gotten requests but allow me to add to their pleas Outlander (2014 video that shows them as a 5 piece band, good blend of fry screaming and cleans, with a really heavy drop) Teacher Teacher (Just a really good and popular song from them) Now I’ll also suggest that you print out some lyrics, as it may help you to understand and enjoy Jinjer. Pisces is good, but most just want to see the "shock" when the growls arrive. For pure vocal performance, couldn't go wrong with either I Speak Astronomy or Teacher, Teacher.

she's a goddess (or a demon!), not only she's singing, controlling breath and air, switching from clean to "GRRRRRRRRRR!", hitting notes perfectly, she's handling the stage perfectly. not everybody can handle a stage and an audience, she's walking around and performing not only with her voice, with her movements and stage presence too. she's a great artist in general. the guys in the band are very talented too, they are great playing the instruments. the whole band is very talented. (and I'm not a big fan, I like only 3 or 4 of their songs, but I can tell they are unique).

I've seen several, probably six to eight, Voice Coaches react to Tatiana live and you're the first person to recognize the difference between a "scream" and a "growl". One of them (a pretty big one on KZbin) even argued with me that there was no difference. She said a scream and a growl are the same thing and people just call them one or the other. As a studio/session musician for 30+ years I disagree completely. You're also only the second I've heard bring up breath control. Since you obviously know what you're talking about I'm subscribing. I second that. I also only heard just one other vocal coach mentioning support. And also the false vocal folds. So far only two coaches recognized that this is NOT vocal fry being exaggerated, but something very different!

After this band exploded on youtube, a little over a year ago, the generel opinion is, that she is THE best female vocalist in metal, right now. There are others that a great, but she is in a league of her own! And luckely, she sings in a band, that are equally talented! Amazing technique and great creativity from all of them!

And even Anette is a good singer with a bit more limited capabilites (and a total different voice), but a good singer. Tati and Floor are not comparable at any point.

@@adrianojameson629 You can have "better" and "best" when people agree on a set of standards and then agree when things meet those standards. For singing there are objective standards that people can agree on like range, versatility, agility, power, etc. That's what makes singing competitions possible. There really isn't such a standard where Tatiana would better Floor, except for the growls. Of course, if a band like Jinjer requires those growls, then Floor wouldn't be a good fit; but I'd put my money on Floor being able to learn to do those growls competently better than Tatiana learning to sing some of the stuff Floor does in Nightwish. Just like some songs are more difficult to play on guitar or drums, some songs are more difficult to sing. Of course, none of that is stopping you from preferring Tatiana over Floor, or Jinjer over Nightwish; and there's no need to get defensive when someone says they think Floor is better, or that most people consider Floor better.

They both have great range. I actually think I prefer Tatiana’s tone, but that’s subjective. Tatiana also has vocal agility[I am hearing some quick but tricky melisma’s] that I have yet to hear in floor. Floor can sing a few more genres. So there’s give-and-take. Just like with Tarja.

This was outstanding nice, lovely wonderful.... Saw them live here in Berlin last November and it was one of the best concerts ever - though I am not really a metalhead, just an open minded music enthusiast and I have seen a LOT of concerts in my life. Even you have a crush on Tati and her skills now (btw she can change from clear to extreme and back from line to line), take a look at the guys too! They are similar masters on there instruments like Tati with her voice. They make normally around 200 concerts a year, a lot of years under really lousy small band conditions, there real deserved expansion happend around the last 18 months, probably with a big influence of the Pisces-video (hold the lyrics ready when you hear this song - just a suggestion). Sidefact: You can travel to Ukrain now but you would only find Vlad and Roman there (the drummer and the guitarist), Eugene - bass - and Tati are caught by the corona situation and stuck since nearly 2 months in Los Angeles... Tatiana has an awesome range of vocal techniques at hand. She started singing with jamming with whatever band was in the same house of rehearsal rooms and has no limit on music styles. With Jinjer she started developing her own growl and scream technique over years which is quite unique for my ears, she has insanely full sounding deep growls, high screams, everything inbetween. Clean singing, rock style distorted vocals, higher "girly-ish" sounding distorted vocals, jazzy club music, reggae/ska, ballads, she does whatever the band throws at her musically, and they mix a lot of styles with the kind of metalcore that is the main ingredient of their music. She is easily on par with the biggest pop stars when it comes to live performance and vocal qualities - plus she does the all-in-one package with the growling at a similarly high level i.e. maybe as the best female growler nowadays. How can a musician not get a crush on her? :-)

I saw them live in Dallas last September and had meet and greet. They were all nice and I was surprised at how little she was. With that much power I just assumed she was bigger but she is tiny tiny. tiny. That is A LOT of power coming out of that little frame. They put on a hell of a show as well. Im not very good with my growls, but to people that like metal and are no musicians I sound cool. I know how to do it, but it takes a lot of time to train your throut. The thing is, switching is easy. Really, it is two completely different parts of your throut that are working. It is like saying... Move your hand, now change it to your arm. How to balance and control the vibration is hard.
