Voice only Guided meditation to help with sleep and sleeping problems, such as insomnia, anxiety, worry or stress. Allow your mind to be as open as you hear the words in this guided meditation. You will relax deeply and be eased into sleep as this meditation continues. This is a long Guided audio for helping to free up your mind and the aim is to find the gaps of silence inbetween thought, where there is peace and relaxation. Meditation is a process of lightening up manifestation.guide of trusting the basic goodness of what we have and who we are, and of realizing that any wisdom that exists, exists in what we already have. We can lead our life so as to become more awake to who we are and what we’re doing rather than trying to improve or change or get rid of who we are or what we’re doing. The key is to wake up, to become more alert, more inquisitive and curious about ourselves.

Please make another voice only meditation! The absence of music makes it a lot easier to relax because sometimes I'll almost be asleep and then a random chime will give me a fright and wake me up

I find it easiest to listen to English males as females give me anxiety and so does the Australian and NZ accent as I had to leave there due to covid so it makes me sad. This is perfect for me thank you

I've thought a lot recent about recording a talk down thing myself. I listen to them when I'm having an anxiety attack. I'd be so interested to see how you'd feel about mine if I did one?! Maybe I could record something and send it to you privately or something.

Please please make more without music! Music keeps musicians and a lot of others distracted. I love this one though!!! Almost every night I listen. Wish there were more

I'm only a 12 year old but I love your videos there so relaxing and I fall asleep so fast I use to be up till 12pm but not I'm going to bed at 10pm this is better for my school too because I'm normally really late! But thank you for this one I love it!!!!💕

THIS IS AMAZING OMG!!!!! I’ve been dealing with the lack of sleep for a few days. I tried relaxing music but it didn’t help. Then I came across this and tried to test it out. IT HAS HELPED ME SOO MUCH!! I haven’t slept how I slept when I heard this in days!! thank you so much omg 😄😄😄

Definitely voice only /you have a beautiful voice my mind can relax and be at peace which is very hard to find with the way of the world with all its trials and tragedies /your voice is the music words are power /in life we are always evolving and making our craft expertise better than what it was before thank-you

Thank you so much for making this meditation, I love that it's voice only, making it really relaxing with no distraction of music. It really helps me to get to sleep and it's a shame that it works so quickly, would really like to hear all of it ;) I suppose it's always meant to be started from the beginning?

@@MeditationVacation Fyi I tried the other one but fall asleep better with this one. I think it is because your voice in this one is lower and more muffled which makes me more sleepy! Different strokes for different folks, right?

I think this is a good choice to do _voice only._ Your voice can certainly carry the meditation; excellent quality. In a way the music can be a distraction.

I would say if you do rerelease you should update edit end make them fresh and new in some way. But the bigger question, and I would love to get community feedback on this; which is ‘better’, voice only or voice with atmospheric music background. I've gone back and forth on this question and I believe voice only allows for greater depth of experience for the listener.

Quiet Mind Cafe to me I prefer voice only or minimum music in the background...voice only is more one on one feeling and no distractions by music or sounds so calms even more...its simple...do you prefer a good serious calm conversation in loud pub or when you walk in the woods...haha you know what I mean...enjoy the moment...byeeee

This one has helped me pretty consistently. Thank you. Sleep can be so elusive. I find a soothing voice that speaks quietly, but does not whisper, and does not leave many gaps, seems to be the ticket for me. Hopefully, you will send me to dreamland again tonight.

(guest) Voice only is far superior to having music added. The music is not unpleasant, but it is a distraction : you can't help noticing it. The main point of hypnosis speech is to encourage focussing , which will not be 100% if there's something else sounding at the same time. Its like trying to talk to someone while someone's tugging at your sleeve! Thank you for making this talk : very helpful. ☺

Your guided meditation and healing music for meditation has really helped me. I could not fall asleep. Your music always lure me to sleep and that is why I decided to create a KZbin channel to help people in my condition. Thanks to your channel. I could not eat. I will stay awake all night because I had lost someone. Then I also lost a job a year later. It was the worst time of my life.

Voice only is so much better for you! When you add in music or waves crashing sound effects, it's usually too over powering and distracting. This is much better!

although I always like the background music you choose, I also like the voice only ones. i like hearing your voice more , but the music is also relaxing. the voice only videos are perfect for those nights when it takes me longer to fall asleep.

@@MeditationVacation you know I know this sounds so generic but I really try to enjoy them all I just pick random ones every night based off of how I'm feeling that day . Everytime I'm always impressed and end up loving that one as much as others. It's an adventure for me . I appreciate them all. I have enjoyed this voice only one, I've been listening to it the past few nights but your voice alone and the stories you create are my favorite and so well detailed. I love how I can travel to some pretend place of sleep and rest ☮️🕊️

This is the most soothing and knowledgeably prepared sleep meditation I have come across the KZbin. It is wonderful not to have background music which I find most irritating when one is trying to relax. Mesmerising tone of voice. Would it be possible, please, to record more without music? With gratitude.

Hi Christian. I love your meditations so much. They help me to relax and sleep every night. Lately I have been so impatient with the caregivers in my life. I have MS and have them come 4 times a day which is 4 times too many as far as I am concerned. I used to be so independent that this depending on others drives me crazy! Could you do a guided meditation on developing patience? I hate who I am when I am so critical and impatient with people. Keep doing what you do. ❤️

This is great except for the times that you stop talking for several seconds. When there's no noise for too long it makes it disturbing when you start talking again

Dear Meditation Vacation: The KZbin advertisements pop up right in the middle of the videos that are more than about15-20 minutes long, on average and Oh!! It’s so horrible, especially when you’ve just reached that state of total relaxation. When you’ve finally gotten your first taste of sleep in almost THREE nights!!! Imagine this, as the following describes my advertising experience (nightmare)....... You’ve been listening to this soothing, calming, meditative voice, for over an hour, maybe more. A voice that is blessedly without the distracting, ear splitting music that always disturbs your meditative state and you feel peaceful and positive and something that’s so unfamiliar that you can hardly put a name to it; oh my gosh! Could it be?! Are you feeling like you’re drifting off to sleep? You couldn’t possibly be seeing those things and those people because they’re NOT in your bedroom! Could you be experiencing the elusive dream state that you haven’t had in, well... you don’t remember the last time you experienced it!!!Oh my jeez!!! You’ve actually really and truly, finally found sleep after fighting with insomnia half the night and then, suddenly, at the worst possible time, several voices begin yelling very loudly in your ear (because you’re wearing headphones so that you can listen to binaural beats for deep sleep in the background, while listening to the guided meditation) advertising a movie you have no desire to ever see, but when it initially wakes you, you have no understanding of the words or why someone would be in your bedroom yelling. It’s absolutely terrifying for just a split second. All you know is that someone is yelling at you and they’re very, VERY close AND you have no idea what the heck is going on and BAM!! You’ve completely lost that blessed slumber because your heart is pounding and your hands are shaking because you’ve now been sent into “fight or flight” mode as you’re ripped out of your beautiful, hard-won slumber by a ridiculously placed KZbin advertisement. Once you realize what has happened and you’re able to “skip” the add, you’re adrenaline starts to ebb and the exhaustion starts to take over again, you begin to get upset that KZbin would be that inconsiderate. You’re hugely ticked off because you’ve now lost that coveted bit of slumber, which has become like heroine to a junkie in detox. You restart the video at the beginning, just to see if you can relax enough to, maybe, sleep an hour or two before your alarm goes off at 0800. Hope springs eternal to all junkies, when our drug is just barely out of our grasp... You decide to scroll through the comments below, to see if anyone else has experienced the same type of frustration, after all, misery loves company and it may distract you enough to settle your nerves while you listen a while. And, voila! You find another poor soul that has suffered almost the exact same fate. So... I am typing all of this for two reasons (And, yes, I realize just how long winded and illustrative I can be when I write. It’s because I’m a writer and it relaxes me. Sorry about that). 😬 One is to explain how horrible my first experience was with being awoken by that stupid, insufferably loud advertisement (I mean, cheese & rice!, KZbin people!!! Why does the advertisement have to be twice as loud as the video? Your gonna give someone a apoplexy!) after FINALLY being able to fall asleep. I must say that your Guided Meditation is absolutely wonderful, however. I’ve tried SO MANY and have had minimal luck until I enjoyed yours. The fact that you have a combination of a soothing voice that doesn’t fluctuate much in pitch, intensity or tone and there is no background noise, music or otherwise, is the perfect combination for me and has been extremely hard to find. I am extremely sensitive to any kind of changes in the things I mentioned above and most of the music that is used as background for the meditation and hypnosis tracks, hit some kind of tone or pitch or something, just every now and then, that hurts my ears all the way into my teeth. I don’t understand it, but anything with bells, most wind instruments, prayer bowls, chimes, anything with those higher, sharper tones prevent me from achieving that meditative state necessary for the total relaxation needed for sleep and I’ve been a Chronic Insomniac since before I was three years old and I’m almost 43 now. So I don’t see this problem resolving any time in the near future and I refuse to take sleeping pills anymore and haven’t taken them, since my last Ambien, about 7 years ago. The second reason I’m writing all of this down is this: All of this just happened to me this morning and I used my writing as a way to calm my frayed, and a bit terrified, nerves so, hopefully with the assistance of your Guided Meditation, I may be able to snatch another hour, for a total of almost three for the night. (😖 SO FRUSTRATED!!!) But at least I know that your track works well and I should be able to use it many, many times, in combination with my Deep Sleep binaural beats. I tend to become immune to the hypnosis and meditation tracks that I listen to regularly, after a while. I’m unsure why. Maybe you have the answer??? One of my favorites was The Daisy Pond by Burt Goldman. It worked for me for just over a year and it had background music that didn’t have tones in it that disturbed me (highly, highly unusual for me to find that in a guided meditation track). I guess because it was mostly made up of tribal drum beats with very little winds, if I remember correctly. It was also VERY short and I hardly ever made it to the end before I fell asleep. I listened to it almost every night and sometimes for a nap, and it never failed to soothe me to sleep, but one day it just quit working for me. Even if I try it now (I did try it out just a few months ago), it still fails to work. Every one that has ever worked really successfully has eventually become completely ineffective after a period of, generally, less than 7-8 months. Even if I wait a few years and return to the ones I love, they are still completely ineffectual. The Daisy Pond was the only one that managed to work for me for more than a year and was used almost daily and it still failed to work when I returned to it. I was hoping that, maybe, you’d have some answers. Also, do you have any idea why KZbin is pausing your meditation track, right in the middle and starting up a 15-30 second advertisement? It’s so distracting and can actually be very scary when a person is in a meditative state and it’s making your video practically worthless. I mean, what’s the point if your video? It’s supposed to help you get a good nights sleep, right? But if the advertisement is starting up midway or close to the end of the video, when people are in their deepest meditative state or even already asleep, it just snaps them right out of it. It’s like having a cold bucket of water dumped all over you! Or having an ax murderer jump out at you, while screaming loudly and then saying, “Just kidding” and walking away. It either just makes you feel aggrieved and frustrated or it scares the bejeezus out of you and it leaves you so shaken and pumped up on adrenaline, that it makes you, a person, whom is probably already suffering from some form of insomnia or other sleep disorder or difficulty, unable to settle for most of or possibly the rest of the night. Which will only increase their level of anxiety, depression, anger, frustration or any plethora of unwanted emotions due to lack of sleep. It’s a real travesty! I was truly terrified when that ridiculous advertisement woke me from my meditative state early this morning. Is there any way that you can address this? Maybe have them start a couple of full length ads at the beginning of the video. Or, at the very least, have the ads that they feel they MUST start somewhere in the middle of your videos, start quite a bit earlier or use ads that are much quieter or don’t have any sound. That way we are not so deeply rooted in our meditative states that it really disturbs us and wrecks our ENTIRE night, like it has mine? Not your fault, by the way!!! I don’t blame you in any way. It’s just very unfortunate. But I know now and will be prepared in case it happens again. Maybe the KZbin Ad Execs would be willing to work with you. Hopefully they would show some respect to the people that use their site, after all they’re running their ads in the middle of your video. Without us, there is no them. It doesn’t hurt to check it out. 😊 Welp... I’m gonna try to grasp at another hours sleep 😴, if it’s at all possible. Thanks for tolerating me while I vented on a public venue. Not my usual style, but desperate times and all that. I wish everyone here a good night’s sleep, all wrapped up in peaceful, beautiful lucid dreams.

so sorry for your shocking sleep disturbance w as you finally did get some so much needed sleep. It is actually detrimental to the body to get disturbed in sleep, and when it happens often, it disrupts one into insomnia HAppened to me , 3 barking dogs next-door for 12 years. There was no way to have it stopped, despite industious labour and creativity, pedagogy etc to communicate with the culprit. Who was a psychiatric NURSE at that. Which made it even worse psychologically. I got now that ppl are mostly rather unconscious. I don't know whether to do this hypnosis, not good if I'd get the shock interruption. 20 years of severe trauma/stress insomnia from abuse in psychiatric care. I am still working at getting into parasympathetic mode and stop Cortisol shower, can't do it alone. Hope for help. Peace.

These meditations are perfect. kzbin.infoUgkxR50id-GIBIDuBvuBGenhx1O5zKIfCVNK him has a gentle, warm, pleasant voice (with a slight Scots accent). The words are simple and clear. The timing is perfect... just as you start to find your mind wandering, he says and if you find that your mind is wandering... . There is no background music and no noise in the background, only his peaceful and engaging voice. The length of the meditations (about 1/2 hour each) works well for me. I find that I tire of some meditations after frequent repetition, but that hasn't happened with this one. The metta lovingkindness meditation always feels right. Some meditation CDs I have tried have not felt right. The voice seemed hurried, or sounded tense; the background music seemed intrusive, or there were noises that interfered with concentration. This is just perfect as an introduction for new meditators, and it's also a meditation that I return to again and again. I'd give this more than five stars if that were an option. Even my students, who are not ordinarily very receptive to meditation, relax when they hear this one!

hmm well I am a big fan of yours but this one unfortunately made me too sad to listen for the whole time...each to their own and I still listen to about 6 of yours regulalry......Whenever anyone asks me to think of a place I can relax in I see places with people that are no longer in y life...hence the sadness...but you are till the best on here by a mile!
