I knew you would appreciate this one! It’s one of my favorite covers from them! Who would ever imagine an a cappella group covering such an iconic metal song like this one? They also covered Seven Nation Army! It’s pretty much same level as this one.

I think someone else might have mentioned this... J None was a full-time member of VoicePlay from March 2018 until June 2021. In '21 he joined the Navy (as a Navy vet I cheer him for that!!) Since this piece was done after J left, he is billed as, "Featuring J None." Most of us hold out hope that he will re-join as a full-time member when he leaves the Navy. For now, he joins as a featured vocalist when "the stars align."

"It pulled me in" is an excellent way to describe the experience of watching this! Excellent reaction to the violin #VioLayne -- he doesn't play very often but I love it. I think you might really dig their cover of Seven Nation Army (it's one of my favorites). Costumes, but a very post-apoc vibe.

Found myself smiling as soon as I got the notification you had reacted to this one Red, having a feeling I knew what was coming. This is hands down one of my favourite VoicePlay covers. Thank you so much for finally getting to this one. Yeah, they nailed this cover and I don't know if Metallica has heard this or not, but I'm pretty sure they would be proud of them and their cover. This is not, by any stretch of the imagination , an easy song to do a cover of. But, these guys took on the challenge and in my opinion absolutely nailed it. I hope you continue to stay on the Voice Play, Home Free and Pentatonix acapella train. Speaking of, would love to see you react to Pentatonix's cover of Queens "Bohemian Rhapsody". I love this song and to find out that PTX was gonna a drop a cover of this song I was both excited and skeptical. But, after listening to their cover they nailed every aspect of this song from beginning to end. It was unbelievable and i just know you are gonna love it. I really enjoyed your reaction- thanks! If you like Metallica you would probably enjoy Voice Play's cover of "Whiskey In The Jar". I have not seen or heard any comments about Metallica seeing this cover but I know legendary band, 'Chicago', saw this and liked it so much that they invited Voice Play to sing with them in two shows in New Jersey back in November. If you are in the mood for Rock songs, Voice Play does great covers of "In The Air Tonight", "Seven Nation Army", "Dream On", and "Carry On My Wayward Son". Beatboxer here, Layne, can really rock out on the violin while beatboxing so it has earned him the nickname "Violayne" (you would enjoy Voice Play's cover of "Warriors" with Layne and J None playing the violins). For more Disney/theater you would love their "Little Mermaid Medley" and "Hoist The Colors".
