I think he's making his voice light and fluttering like butterflies, also there is a nervousness to it. In other words it's PERFECT 👌. I get chills EVERY time I hear it. Nothing can improve this song except if it were longer.

I have to clarify this wasn’t MJ trying to get into the changing times of Music,MJ was pretty much doing well for himself up to this point which was 2001 this album was innovative and a masterpiece! At that time in 2001 nobody heard music like this hell most of the songs off of Justin Timberlake’s first album “Justified” were for Michael Pharrell Williams admitted that, and the fact the “Invincible” album recording sessions were from 1999-2001 it’s incredible how ahead of his time MJ was he was a true pioneer/innovator MJ’s vocals are unmatched as well The Greatest Singer Of All Time not just that The Greatest Music Artist Of All Time Period! The King Of Music Forever! And personally I feel MJ is the only artist in history who doesn’t have a bad record simply cause his discography is timeless and he was so ahead of his time with the “Invincible” album and just in general even his unreleased material is better than 99% of most artists best released songs etc.😇🙌🏽👑🦋💫💯(Please React to Michael Jackson “Whatever Happens”)

Michael Jackson was an incredible Vocalist and of course he would know how to layer his vocals when he was at Motown and you would think that he learned from Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder in the 70's era where all these great Artist layered there Vocals. He Learned a lot from Motown. Berry said Michael was a sponge that he would pay attention to the mixing of the songs. That's why he was such a great writer of Songs because he was surrounded by the greatest artists and songwriters of all time. Michael had great natural ability but he studied and learned from these great Artist. Motown had some of the greatest artist of all time and they would teach him technique and how to craft a song so he went to the greatest school of all Motown.

Passionate, soulful, very R&B. Some of the best vocals and arrangements on the album. Always love your MJ reactions! Never knew you appreciated Invincible, it’s one of my favorite albums from him too. Invincible was actually selling faster than Thriller in its first few weeks but very quickly the sales dropped. It was a combination of things. Sony and MJ were in a feud so Sony stopped promoting it and MJ refused to make appearances for Sony including a tour. What resulted was very poor marketing, but not MJ’s fault. Critics were also very hard on this album which turned away even more people. They criticized his use of tech sounds and how it wasn’t anything like his older material, which wasn’t fair. People didn’t realize at the time that he was pioneering dubstep with some of these songs. They even attacked his age calling him a legacy act (he was only 43). I think a lot of critics changed their mind about it since then. It’s aged amazingly and has gotten a lot more appreciation recently. I see Invincible getting love on Tik Tok a lot. And yes that’s true he conceptualized 50-100 songs per album but actually he would finish 25-30 of those songs. That’s still a lot of extra material considering MJ’s albums would be 10-15 songs each. A lot of it has been leaked but I’d love to hear them all! People have their opinions about releasing things while he’s not here, but I think he would’ve wanted that. He was reworking a lot of unreleased songs for the album that was supposed to come after Invincible.

I think what also makes this track/album so good is that he wasn’t just doing the background vocals for himself like on many previous tracks. While he was an absolute beast at layering his backing vocals to perfection, he was usually harmonising with himself. To be that good at harmonising and layering those harmonies with voices that may not naturally blend with his own (as the case would be when he sang his own backing) is so tricky. And he and the other vocalists absolutely ace it on this album. Shows he never just stuck to the ‘same old formula’ and continued to change and develop artistically and vocally over the years, which is why he will always be the greatest❤️🙌🏼

Yes, this is an amazing song. It is full of passion. MJ was an incredible song writer/musician. From what I heard about the Invisible album is that he was somewhat at odds with Sony at the time, so it was t really promoted the way previous albums were. Also he didn’t tour with this album because of Covid as well as other reasons. But I really enjoy your channel and love your reactions. Especially to MJ. I, like you, also didn’t take the opportunity back the 80’s to go to a concert. “Bad” would’ve been the one I would’ve like to have seen, but didn’t. Now I regret it. 🙁. So always love to hear your reactions. The more MJ, the better 👍🥰

I love coming here and watching, amongst other artists you react to, the Michael Jackson videos. If there is a video that I could recommend, it would either be the best live vocals of *NSYNC or a video that's a bit longer (about 31 minutes) titled "*NSYNC (Best Harmony Compilation)", only because I think the fact, in my opinion, that they had a great blend as a vocal group gets lost to time, since they were also great dancers and amongst a sea of talent in the late 90s/early 2000s.

"I don't know why this album didn't take off more..." "Invincible" to this day is the most expensive album ever made at a cost of $30 million. When it was released, however, Michael was at odds with Sony because the masters to his previous albums, "Bad", "Dangerous", and "HIStory" were supposed to be released to him around this time, but Sony pulled some corporate jujitsu and said they wouldn't be released to him for another 9 years. Michael decided to leave the label and refused to go on a planned world tour, which prompted Sony to immediately stop all promotion on the album. Michael sued Sony but passed away before he could have his day in court. "Invincible",, which initially received negative reviews, would go on to be considered one of Michael Jackson's best albums. Even Michael himself would say that it was just as good as, or even better than Thriller.

This song and this album are so good! The album didn't take off more because at the time Michael was in a heated battle with SONY, or the head of SONY Music, Tommy Matolla, in particular who did everything to sabotage the album. Refused to promote it, cancelled singles and video shoots. Matolla, also famously did the same thing to his ex wife Mariah Carey after she broke up with him, and he made it his mission to destroy her and make JLo her replacement. Thankfully Matolla was removed from SONY and Mariah managed to get away and continues to thrive.

You need to make a reaction video ... Jackson's last rehearsal and the backstory of Jackson's genius are revealed in the documentary "This Is It". It confirms his status as the greatest entertainer and singer ever. Additionally, his 50-year tenure at the top. Although he was supposed to be saving his voice, he was singing at rehearsal. Additionally, it sounded great even without music. This certify me of Michael Jackson talents. Now, I have the original DVD when it came out.
