I commented on this video before. I can’t help but watch this video over and over because it makes me happy to see you adore Amy as much as I do. It was through this show she did that I first discovered her. I was immediately intrigued! And I became obsessed with her music. I realized that I had developed an emotional attachment to her songs because not only have I felt the things she has written about, but she writes her songs in a way that you experience those things with her. And it absolutely fascinated me how clever her lyrics are. Also it’s a coincidence that you posted this video on her death anniversary. Amy will always have a piece of my heart. She is a legend. Its weird that I stumpled on this video. I was just thinking about Amy. I remember I had a dream that she was wearing a beautiful white garnet and she had no makeup but she was radiant. She hugged her husband goodbye and he was crying hysterically. The next day, she was announced dead all over the news. I also didn't know she was invited to that church to sing. For me, this reaction vid is affirmation that she accepted Jesus Christ before she left 😩😭💙💙😇😇

Just imagine how truly breathtaking her James Bond theme would have been had she done it. I mourn and grieve not only for Amy herself but for the masterpieces she would have created. Life was so cruel to her, poor girl. I'm just so grateful for her music and I'm so glad she was alive in a time where she was able to record her songs, so that future generations (even hundreds of years from now) will be able to listen to and appreciate her- she will never be forgotten.

If you haven’t done so yet, I highly recommend Francisco Céspedes - Vida Loca. The melancholy in his voice will transport you to a dark corner of bar with a glass of whiskey and a cigarette... oh don’t mind my, just thinking of the Mr. Cespedes singing will do this to you. Hi Andy nice vid to Amy Thanks . As your a great coach and you watch many vids of her you can see Amy even self corrects herself as she sings and alters her pitch and tone to match the feel of the song and she never sang the song the same ever. In her early Frank era she loved playing and performance but after BTB she started to dread it and would need a drink.

Hey dude, I like what I'm hearing, even if I don't know a legato from a linguine. Totally agree with your thoughts on Amy's greatness. I'd like to hear your opinions of the following two Amy performances; unfortunately you'd have to isolate them from within their longer performances. First, her first-ever (but for a rehearsal earlier) perf of "Cupid"--live at Glastonbury 2007 (I'll be coming back to edit this I have this wrong). This is pure joy and girlishness--and excellence in execution. Secondly, what I call the "red dress" performance of "Take the Box." I say red dress because I can never recall the church or hall it was in--Porsham?? To me, this is her greatest performance of any. The opposite of joy, though. This entire performance (red dress) is on the UK Amazon--I say, UK Amazon--edition of Amy Winehouse DVD. It's sublime, but it's dark. All of Dingle show is on another DVD, and the 3rd DVD is the set of ... Late Night With Jules Holland. And then there's an audio CD and a fine booklet.
