This song was multi-tracked with Geoff doing two parts. Although, Eli can reach A1 and has covered simple basslines live more than a few times. He is technically a high baritone, who has an extended range into tenor and down to bass.

Eli can't reach A1. His lowest note is C2

@@nikelodeon6852, from what I have found, this is open for debate. I have found a couple instances where he reaches A1. However, even with that notwithstanding, C2 is still the low end of a standard bass singer -- E2 with vocal weight being the low to be considered bass. I am a bass singer and vocal trainer, so, trust me, I know.

Oh man.... there were some days we'd watch Moana 3x a day! I'd say the watch count is easily, easily at least 200x, if not more! Thankfully Disney+ came along and now we have the entire Disney library, which is so crazy to me to think about since we grew up with VHS tapes! In VoicePlay's collab quarantine video from (last?) Spring: "Just Sing" (has it really been over a year?), they put who each of the singers are in the closed captions; most of the people are either former members, or people they met through The Sing Off, but Rachel Potter is credited as being on Broadway, in The Addams Family, Wicked, & Evita, as well as being on the X-Factor.

I didn't know until I met them, then I started pronouncing it right. And yes, J. None and Earl are both gone now. :( Sad. But they're still amazing! #VoicePlaya4Life

Earle left the group for personal reasons, unstated. I know he had health issues before which led to Queen in 5 minutes. But I dont know the actual reason for his leaving. Could be Eli (pronounced ellie by the way) he can double as bass, so can Layne. Love your reactions. Brilliant.

Fun Fact: The Rock actually sang the entire Maui song and his youngest doesn't believe he's Maui in the movie. In Oogie Bogie song J. None would cover bass when Geoff didn't. He left voiceplay to join the military.
