As requested, in this video I explain the iconography on both sides of the Galactic board in Voidfall. Once you understand the iconography it's a really useful tool for tracking the phases of this game.

Excellent, as always! Thank you for taking the time to do that. I think I’ve pretty much been doing everything right-some of the iconography just didn’t make sense to me. Maybe this will be helpful to other new Voidfall fans!

Combat is definitely where I struggle the most-especially if I’m playing solo and my husband isn’t around to confirm that I’m doing it right! 😂 I’d like to get to the point where I can look at the map and instantly assess what I need to win any given combat but when multiple fleet types are involved, it gets confusing to me.

@melandloys I don’t think I can instantly determine a winner for most combat scenarios unless it’s limited to just corvettes and sector defenses, but I am confident enough in the rules that I can always figure it out! Luckily when you play solo/co-op there is no PvP combat, meaning you’ll only have non-corvette fleet types on one side of the battle at most, because the Voidborn can only have corvettes. At least until an expansion comes and throws it all into chaos haha! 🤞😅
