I know this is a feature length effort so to save you all time and sanity fast forward to the last 5 mins or so the images are that end of the vid, you're welcome. For those absolute legends who will watch this from arseole to breakfast time know this you are one a small but slowly growing bunch of top lads n lasses I really appreciate your commitment and support. So In this epic episode I load the Bessa up with a roll of Fomapan 100 120 roll film with the aim of shooting 8 panorama style images. In the process a decent storm rolled in resulting in a few tidy shots with the Leica Q and an out of focus frame on the Bessa II, oh yeah and I got soaked. Outstanding photographs Paul! I also own the Bessa II w/Color Heliar. Amazing that 1950s engineering provides you with a 6X9 camera that fits in your jacket pocket. Best travel camera ever devised. Occasionally, I load 35mm for that "X-Pan look." Razor sharp.

hey cheers mate yeah I was a bit disappointed with the results this time, but already planning another shoot in better light. That camera is a cracker huge negs in such a compact form love it.

I guess Foma is a good pick not to feel too guilty about wasting film while cropping. Cool shots from a cool place. A spotmeter might have been handier for such scenes.

absolutely mate a spot meter would have been handy saying that I could have used the spot meter in the Q to get better readings......one for next time XX

That's what I do. Must be why a 6x9 folder is 6x9cm,so you can cut off the top and bottom 2cm to make a 2x9cm pano.

That bessa looks like a lovely bit of kit. Where did you get that? Bessa 2’s are bonkers expensive over here! Wouldn’t mind one though. Really enjoyed the bessa 1 that I had.
