I bought a Schwinn Shuffle to do this, but I went with rear drive. I've had experiences with front drive on trikes where the wheel can develop a wobble or a pull to one side and makes it difficult to steer. Rear drive is fairly stable since the wheel is locked in place. Also lets me run some springer forks and a drum brake on the front

I am looking forward to getting my own electric kickbike! My Oxelo Town9 is not fun in the winter or uphill and does rattle quite a bit. I must keep saving for my electric dream machine 😃

It goes good with the Flow too🏆Nice Paul i go with 203mm rotor that way the hydr. caliper fits👍The space on the forks and axle need to be perfect when you tighten the wheel/hub motor i use washers otherwise the rotor/caliper also must be spaced perfect very little to no room for error👌

Cheers peter - Ive sorted it last night - Fitted spacers on the forks & sorted the front brake rubbing & ive also put the controller in a handlebar bag - Im going a ride later if the rain holds off !! Thanks for watching & the advice mate 👍🏻

Hey Paul, please be careful with allow forks and hub motors, they put a surprising amount of torque / stress on forks and had a couple snap on mine... luckily I was sat so low down it just grinded to a halt, but if not already, please at least use a torque arm or two, to secure the wheel and reduce the pressure on the fork slots. Love the scooter though. I am thinking of building a v similar one, but RWD instead.

Hi Andrew - Ive no longer got this Escooter BUT i read at the time about front wheel hubs bending/warping/snapping forks !! This build was rubbish it had no power/no low end torque so the forks was fine BUT great advice for anyone thinking of doing similar...Itll be interesting to see your RWD build as ive seen a lot of people doing them now..Thanks for watching & commenting ⚡️

Hola. Sí, aquí en el Reino Unido el límite de velocidad es de 15,5 mph, pero eso es en bicicletas eléctricas. Esta Escooter no era legal, pero de todos modos viajo principalmente fuera de la carretera. ¡No me gustan las carreteras! Gracias ella es un paquete de alegría 😍

I'm going to build my first Ekickbike. I once heard that the front wheel kits on these make the steering sluggish. Any truth to that do ye find?

Hi - great they are quite easy to build really - No I fitted suspension forks & they seemed ok BUT the only thing I noticed with a front wheel motor was it jumped/skipped at speed on bumps - This never affected the ride though...Thanks for watching & commenting ⚡

Hello - I did the front wheel because i couldnt find a decent rear wheel kit for 20" BUT ive disassembled this Escooter to use the wheel on a Ebike & im looking at kits for a 20" but higher watts..You could convert a Yedoo Mezeq but it would have to be a front wheel conversion because i cant find any 16" (rear) Ebike wheels over 250w..Search Voilamart for the kit on eBay OR google...Thanks for watching 👍

@@paulleeFLOW Great, thank you for your feedback +1 What is your battery? (48V 18A?) What is your range of distance traveled? Do you want to switch to a 1500W? why ? It is perhaps dangerous so much power on the front wheel.

Hi Media Box - The battery is a Hailong 48v 16ah BUT i havent been very far on it yet so cant say about the distance..Yes 1500w rear wheel because ive been reading on Forums that anything over 250w on the front forks can bend them !! Also it kind of skips over lumps/bumps & doesnt handle the greatest..Hope that helps 🤟

Yes i found 1000w would get me up hills but slowly & a lot of the time i needed to kick but you find this with most Escooters & i think you would need 2000w+ to get up a hill unaided - Thanks
