Set looks fantastic. The book alone is worth it lol. The attention to detail on the cover, and on the inside of the cover makes it great, you don’t see that enough with boxsets . And I’m sure they sound killer. Great pickup brother. Stay spacy. 🤟

Hi Darcy!! so nice to see that awesome boxset finally in your collection with all the extra stuff, high quality and worth the price of the it. They are not an easy band to listen for the very first time, very unique and "chaotic" but in a controlled way. Very nice Box set!!! It definitely looks like they put more thought into it than the Overkill Box. As far as warped albums. I have colored and black albums that are warped. 100 degrees here in Missouri today, definitely SUMMER!!! Stay Heavy

Wow awesome showcase of this fantastic looking boxset Darcy! I saw John rock and metal plus make a video on this, and you made a great detailed video on it also! I've never listened to them, they're another one of those 2nd teir Thrash bands I haven't checked out yet. They certainly sound interesting to me, with each album sounding different and progressive elements in there. This would be the perfect place to start I think, I'm definitley considering getting it. There's been so many great boxsets out recently, the Onslaught and Sepultura ones I have got. The Overkill one I don't see the point in getting because I have half the albums in the set, but still is cool. But this one I will consider getting, cheers mate! 😊🤘

Hey Darcy! So glad to see you enjoying your Voivod box set! I hope to add that to my collection at some point. I personally like all those studio albums. I know Roar gets some push back but I do like it pretty much. It did take me awhile to get into Voivod and I believe I have one of their earlier cassettes that I purchased back in the day. I want to say it is Roar but I can't be for sure. They have become one of my favorite bands over time. I made a trip to my local record store today and came upon one of my grails!! I thought I was seeing things when i was staring at a copy of Rush's Clockwork Angels on vinyl!! Sure made my day so guess what I'm jamming to while typing this comment!! Lol... Oh, it´s that Voi...thing again, hehe... My box arrived in perfect conditioin as well. Nice job, BMG! I bought it for the bonus stuff, I´ve never heard the "Dimension Demos" and the book looked very promising as well. Great content over all. To be honest, I think I would have bought it with only the three studio albums anyway, hahaha... A Running Wild box would be nice, containing the first two albums and a repress of the "Walpurgis Night" 12", a book and a DVD. There´s actually pretty cool video material available from the early to mid 80s. Coroner maybe? The albums and the demo that has Tom Warrior singing on a 12".... I personally really would enjoy a Deathrow boxset but I doubt it´ll sell, hahaha....

It’s a fantastic box set for sure. I had the albums already but really wanted the book and the bonus vinyl. They did an excellent job with the colored vinyl. In my experience, I’ve unfortunately had equal issues with black and colored vinyl. Enjoy the box set Darcy 🤘🤘. The band is trying to raise money to put up a statue of Piggy in Quebec, I made a donation 😀.

WAR and PAIN is an incredible Debut album in my opinion. It's so raw and unique. Like you said it's pretty much a speed Metal and I would also add a punkish vibe in there as well. And does have that motorhead meets venom early rawness to it which I really love that about it. It's actually become one of my most favorite albums from VOIVOD. That is a cool looking boxset. I'm watching it like a hawk on amazon, if its anything like the Overkill and Tankard boxsets it'll drop significantly in a couple of months. That'll be my incentive to pick it up and spend time with them and finally get to grips with them. It's probably about time I got past my irrational issue with them... Richard Hell has a lot to answer for... 😂

The artwork inside the lid is a nice touch I thought. The vinyl is hardwork getting out the sleeves I've put mine in the poly ones now. A Coroner set would be nice but it won't happen unfortunately. They lost the rights. I think that's the trouble with lots of these Noise bands. That Karl fella upset them all over the years and they've been given the rights back over time and went elsewhere.

The static cling on that vinyl inside those sleeves was off the charts , I honestly thought I was gonna rip one of the inner sleeves getting them out lol . Ok let’s hope for a Running Wild set then 🤘

I would really like to see a vinyl box set of the first three Coroner albums. Back in the day I owned them on cassette tapes but now I just stream them. I purchased the Voivod box set about a month ago and I am glad I did. I have Killing Technology on CD but it sounds terribly harsh and noisy , especially the high end. The remastered version included here sounds so much better. I agree with you regarding Rrroooaaarrr. So far it's my least favorite album of theirs because it's just so noisy and chaotic. Their debut album, War and Pain , was more cohesive and tighter sounding, it seems they devolved on their sophomore effort. So far I'm finding the bonus live material both on the albums and the DVD mostly unlistenable. The sound quality is just terrible and I guess they just weren't a very tight band live back in that period. My favorite part about the booklet is drummer Away's artwork which I have liked from the beginning.
