A good friend of mine once jokingly told me that Scandinavian metal videos are probably made by travel advertising companies due to the absolutely gorgeous scenery. This video takes that idea and combines it with the themes of the song and album by showing us how we are distracted from the beauty around us. For this reason it takes my favorite VOLA song and gives it my favorite music video I have yet seen.

Let children get bored and be creative, stop giving them whatever they want and don't use your phone to make them quiet. I feel like it is becoming rare to find music that has deeper, important undertones about humanity and where we are headed. Asger feels very relatable, as an authentic human being with real feelings and worries. VOLA always delivers musically and metaphorically.

Its sad VOLA may never be a top 100 band purely because of genre, but they truly deserve it. One thing you can be endlessly proud of though as artists is how many other artists you inspire. I actively try to share VOLA to as many people as I can and I havent had a single bad reaction. I will continue to do this until I the day I die.

Perfectly expressed!!! I'd prefer that they write the music that they want, the way they want. I totally agree. I don't think everyone can appreciate how complex and unique their music is. I've never seen a quartet sound that good live. Their bassist is so fun to watch as well.

Fantastic song from a great album. Came out of nowhere into my life this band did. Love the production, stellar use of reverb. i always pictured the singer slightly smiling whenever id listen and i was right when i searched for the video. this is one of the few songs recently that makes me not dread the past... sometimes. very glad this showed up in my discover weekly. hardly find any good songs on there but this one stuck. also, that bass sounds so good inbetween the melodic guitar (dont hate me i know nothing about how music works)

I have been totally mesmerised by total gem of VOLA band since seeing them perform as support for Haken earlier this year. Not sure how I did not manage to stumble across them but so far loving musical journey and converted to full time fan. Both albums, as radically different from each other bring warmth and positive aspect to my daily existence.
